By the end of the teaching practice, I will use clear instructions and demonstrations/ modelling to introduce classroom
tasks with increasing accuracy.

Show them examples of the activity to know if the children understand, ask them question after each explanation. Also,
I will see if they are engaging with the activities or not.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

I will open the PowerPoint presentation and I will explain the LOC for the lesson (I do, you watch). I will ask some
previous question about last lesson in multiplication. (what strategies we take in last lesson of multiply? / what
ways you are learning to answer the multiply questions?). Also, I will make quick review about regrouping and

I will be reminding them about the place values and I will ask them (which is biggest Hundreds or Thousands?)
because there is three-digit numbers and four digit numbers but they will focus more in this lesson about three digit
numbers multiply by one digit. After that I will start to tell them about the lesson and I will explain the first example
on the PowerPoint presentation. I will ask them (can you answer this big number with the small numbers? / from

Independent Experience (small group activity 1) 4 or 3 students, (you do, I help).

Activity 1: the student will work as 3 or 4 students together and, in each group, will have a dice and worksheet.

The student must roll the dice four times, and in each time, they will write the numbers they got it when they roll the
dice.

After that they will make the first three numbers like a big number with three digits and the last number will be one
digit, so they will multiply three-digit numbers by one-digit numbers.

Student should be using a design area also to make sure about their answer (they take it in last lesson).

In this activity the student will make the question like if they are playing with dice so, they will have fun with it. I will
walk around them and ask them question how they solve it or if the activity is clear for them?
Independent Experience (small group activity 2) induvial work - (low, middle, high level) , (you do, I watch).

Activity 2: in this activity each student will have a worksheet they have to solve the question independently. The
worksheet has different level of question.

the first three question is about choose the right answer. So, it will be easer for students in low level and when the
will move in others question it will come little different, in the next three question they will have to write the answer
by them self, so it is will come like middle level questions and it will be challenging for the low levels. In last two
question they must read the text and make the multiply question after they have to solve it, so here the high level
maybe takes it easier but in other level also will come some challenging for them.

- I will use Plickers is an online website, I create a folder for them with one question about the lesson. Each
student has a card (scanning card) the student will raise the card with the correct answer, for example, if the

answer is A the student will raise the card in A side. And the answer will show after I scan it by phone.

This website helps to assess each student how they are understating.

- For assess them while I explain the lesson and finish from each part I will ask them to raise a happy face for
understanding and sad face for non-understand.
