INTRODUCTION

India is home to a diverse population playing many different


kinds of sports across the country. Cricket is the most popular sport
in India. Field hockey is the most successful sport for India at Olympics
in which India has won eight Olympic gold medals. Kabaddi is the most
popular indigenous sport in the country.

 Sports, recreation or free time activities are now widely accepted


as fundamental elements of good quality life.
 They are essential to the mental and physical wellbeing of humans
and in general of any present-day society.

Given the country’s mediocre sporting records and facilities, the


scenario in the state of Andhra Pradesh has not been any different.
Taking into account the current scenario and the need to empower the
youth of its state to compete globally, the Government of Andhra
Pradesh has laid a strong emphasis on providing world class sports
infrastructure to its aspiring population. objective and the first step
towards this initiative is an Integrated Sports

AIM

To create a public sports complex serving as


space for sports person and public to develop their
talent and pursue their dream by the INCAP
(Infrastructure Corporation OF Andhra Pradesh)
SCOPE

 Popularizing sports amongst the youth as a way of life


 Increasing outreach of sports to rural and tribal areas
 Matters relating to participation and performance of sports
persons and teams in international sporting events.
 Early identification of sports talent and nurturing of the identified
talent.
 Integration of sports in educational curriculum in schools, colleges
and universities.
 Welfare measures for sports persons.

OBJECTIVES

 To establish a world class sports complex in Tirupati.


 To meet the modern requirement of sports for students.
 Ensures the progress of skills and talents of students, athlete in
the surrounding area.
 To give sports education to the students through academy session
 To provide gymnasium, outdoor indoor sports facility,aquatic
complex within a arena
