 Spearheaded publicity campaigns for four titles per month by analyzing sales data from
prior years to inform what cities authors would visit on tour
 Managed both bestselling and debut authors’ personalities and expectations by fostering
close relationships with agents and editors

 Balanced the dynamic needs of Atria’s VP, Director of Publicity, Associate Director of
Publicity and Publicity Manager while managing a growing list of my own titles
 Drafted publicity materials on a weekly basis to pitch and secure national print and online
media coverage, resulting in widespread coverage of fiction and non-fiction titles
Publicity Assistant May 2013 — April 2015
 Created 50-page-long itineraries for national publicity campaigns in support of high-profile
titles headed by Atria’s VP, Director of Publicity and Publicity Manager
 Coordinated travel and security for prominent authors and celebrities’ national, multi-leg
book tours in order to ensure talent was on location to sell books at sold-out events
 Reconciled and processed department’s author statements, averaging a monthly total of
$30,000 to ensure department’s roster of authors were able to complete their book tours,
which resulted in increased sales of their books
