Lesson Introduction

Whole group activity: Time___15 minutes____ and small objects in their house or in real life.
Show the students some objects with small, medium
Opening/Introduction (warm up): (Bullet points) and large objects in the class.
I will start by showing the students a song to warm
them up for the lesson.
- I’ll start by reading (Surat Alfatiha) : Before we start the lesson we should read Quran.
- In the circle time before starting to read the story I will have a box that has some objects inside
with (small, medium and large size).
- I will tell the students (Can you come and guess what’s inside the box?)
- I will choose one student to come to put his hand in the box and guess what’s inside without
seeing the objects.
- When the students guess the objects I will tell them for example: (This object is big it has a large
size) and so on.
LESSON PLAN TWO
- Then I’ll start reading the story for them and I will ask them some questions while reading the
story.
- Finally, I’ll assess their understanding by doing the check list and by using the happy face chart.
(Can you come and evaluate your understanding of the activities?)
They are used to it because they do it daily with the MST. They come and write their names on
the face that they think it represents their level of understanding.
