Instructions: To contribute to the goal of preparing reflective practitioners, Student Teachers will write an Action Plan at the end of their First,
Second and Third Field Experience with input from their Co-operating Teacher and/or Field Supervisor. The Action Plan synthesizes each Field
Experience’s evaluation, links each Field Experience to the next, establishes goals for improvement and forms an agenda for discussion between
the Student Teacher, Co-operating Teacher and Field Supervisor at the beginning of the subsequent Field Experience. For Field Experience 1 only
(excluding Physical Education students), the Action Plan will be completed during the co-requisite Professional Seminar course.

I have shown ‘Thorough’ to ‘Advanced’ development in the following Professional Competencies developed during this Field Experience:

I showed Thorough to advanced development in competency 1, 2, 11 and 12.

I was able to communicate and understand in both languages spoken in the school. I was also able to be open and respect all cultural backgrounds. I

was able to support and guide students with any help they need. Also to interact with staff members and teachers about the school culture and the

problems they can face in classrooms. I respected the school's confidentiality during parent meetings and demonstrated that I am able to be confident in

front of the class while reading the stories to students. I also understood the different ways of learning and to accept all students' difficulties.

I would like to improve my skills in the following Professional Competencies developed during this Field Experience:

Competency 2

One skill that I would like improve would be my grammar in French and English. I would like to get into the B.Ed. Kindergarten/Elementary Pédagogie de

l'Immersion Française (PIF) at McGill university and in order to do so I would need to practice my French. It is something that I could easily improve and I

won't give up on it. I will start reading more books and listen to the radio and Tv shows in French. I would also like to improve and learn more ways on

dealing with behavioural problems. It is something that I will research about and ask more teachers on what they do. I also want to be ready when doing

my lesson planning to start teaching.

I will make use of the following strategies for improvement:

To gain experience and achieve the true qualities of becoming the best elementary school teacher; I would need to observe and learn different

approaches towards an effective teaching. I would also want to particpate in a French language workshop to improve and get better in this language.

In order to be ready to teach a classroom, I will look at different lesson planning and different styles of teaching. I would like to volunteer in schools to be

fully ready for my second internship.I am looking forward for it an I want to make sure that I fully know myself in in order to become the best teacher I can

be.

The Action Plan is to be discussed with your Field Supervisor and Co-operating Teacher at the start of the subsequent Field Experience.
