Overall aim and context of the lesson

Students will be able to determine the name of the habitat and animal in which they live.
Student will be able to classify each habitat with the right animals that are lives in this habitat.

Select (S):
This lesson is second lesson of this course. It's all about the animals and habitats, the
students will learn the name of the habitats and they will know what animals are living in
each habitat. Then they will learn about the habitat and animals more in details.
Describe (D):
I teach the grade three in the school, and I teach them the science subject in the class. I
have to teach the students about the habitat which is to teach the students the name of
each habitat and which animal are live in these habitat. The students were very excited
to learn about the animals and to know what is the name of habitat for each animal.
Analyze (A):
The students like this lesson because it's excited for them, first I bring for the students
plastic animals then I ask them the questions about these animals like the name, what
does he eat, where did he live? Ten the students start to think about the answers and
guess where these animals are living, so these questions help the students to improve
their abilities and their skills while they will think and predict. After that I explain for the
students the name of each habitat and what are the animals that live in these habitat.
Appraise (A):
I gave each group one sheet include the name of the habitat and the picture of the
habitat, also I gave them small cards include the name of the animals, and then I explain
for the students what they have to on this activities. The students will think about the
animals that they live in the habitat that I gave them, then predict why they choose these
animals, also they will think about the weather in the place and what the animal that live
in this habitat eat. After that I let each group to present their work and answer of the
questions for whole class, so that will help the students to improve their skill such as
cognitive skills, also they will improve their social skills while they will talk and discuss
with the other groups.

Transform (T):
In the future I hope to improve my skills to achieve all the work in the good way, also I
will work more on my language to be better for the students, and I will do more
interesting activities to check the students level.
