In my philosophy of teaching that I believe in, learning is a cooperative process that consist on
children construct their knowledge of understanding the world around them by participating with
other children or with adults such as you as a parents and me as a teacher, play-based learning
includes verity of materials such as blocks, and art materials that develop their skills.
Vygotsky’s theory support as well the collaboration learning in which more advanced peers can
help less advanced members in a group by socializing (McLeod, 2018)
I also believe that you as a parents have significant role on your children learning. Children
academic achievements relies on how often do you participate and follow your children progress
through attending parents meetings, school events, moreover you can volunteer for reading a story
for example or help me in decorate the class by bringing needed materials these kinds of
involvement are effective. According to Parent Involvement In Education article finding ‘’All the
research studies which address these areas found that parent involvement has positive effects on
student attitudes and social behavior’’ (Kathleen Cotton and Karen Reed Wikelund , 1989).
1- Be affective members and follow up their children progress by attending parents meetings and show
up on school events, if there is any excuses please communicate with me on WhatsApp.
2- Work on developing your children reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in the home by
doing some activities such as reading stories, play follow direction game to enhance both listing and
cognitive skills, be creative in developing your children skills at home.
4- Deal with misbehaviour seriously; no one want’s their children getting hurt by other children.
5- My expectation from children is follow direction from first time, be creative, think critically, and be
able to solve problem.

My Classroom Information
My classroom will be full of positive energy that based on respecting each other by following the
classroom rules which are: follow direction, raise your hands before you speak, be respectful to
others, and always do your best. In addition the classroom environmental print will change every
week according to the theme. (Teaching Safety Rules, n.d.)
I use formative and summative assessments in my class to assist my student’s development in academic
progress. The formative assessment alerts me to modify my lessons according your children understanding
for example if they didn’t understand the learning outcome, adjustments will be made to be suitable for your
children development. Examples of formative assessment’s strategies that will use in the classroom:
The questioning type of assessment will be applied during the learning process as a group or individually
students will raise 1 finger if he doesn’t understand, raise 2 fingers if he understand half of the content and
raise 3 fingers to show his full understanding, self-Assessment will allow your children reflect on their own
learning process to know what they do well and what they struggle at, and peer-assessment students will be
using each other as learning resources. I chose these methods of formative assessments to develop my
students self-steam, asses them to be aware of their educational needs and understand what are my
expectations from them (Formative Assessment, 2014).
