 Taught grades 7, 8 and two grade 10 classes of physical education and health.
 Used the Plickers technology app in the classroom to allow quick and effective formative
and summative feedback through assessment of knowledge, surveys, peer and self-
assessment.
 Through exit slips and cooperative graffiti I was able to formatively assess classroom
knowledge.
 By having certain planning procedures in place I was able to plan for the inclusion of all
students with special needs and variety of student’s abilities.

Professional Semester 2 – Gilbert Paterson Middle School


Spring 2017
 Taught grades 6-8 physical education and health.
 Improved classroom management through classroom rules, expectations, consequences
and following through with those consequences.
 Through self-directed workloads I was able to differentiate course work and allow more
one on one time with certain students. Peer teaching also allowed for more feedback,
deepening understanding for students.
Professional Semester 1 – West Meadow Elementary Claresholm
Fall 2016
 Taught grade 4 math, science, social, ELA and PE.
 Learned differentiation strategies with personalized workbooks, one on one instruction
and instructional strategies.
 Practiced balancing different instructional strategies of Audio, visual, psychomotor,
demonstration and classroom activities.
 Cooperative learning strategies like think-pair-share, group work, class debates and
discussions help students learn and understand topics.
