A Welingkar Institute continuously endeavors to add value to the program. Mentioned below are a
few such initiatives, which can be attended by students as per their convenience by payment of
additional nominal fees. Every event /workshop also carries bonus marks.

a) Industrial Visit : It has numerous benefits, and now in India and other part of the world more
and more universities are making it a mandatory part of the entire curriculum, some of the
universities are even providing grades for industrial visit. During such visits, students get
opportunity to see all the real working equipment, machinery including operational
methodology, so these industrial tours are an effort to bridge the gap of practical exposure.

16
b) Spiritual Visit: In today's demanding life style where expectations are greater than
achievement, we suffer from, what is called as "Stress". It is necessary to learn to manage
stress and improve self-performance. The institute has designed a unique stress
management activity, wherein a combination of yoga and other stress relieving processes are
conducted which can be practiced on a regular basis by the students.·

c) Movie Learning Session: It is a known fact that, when we are engaged with the content
through a medium we love, we learn better and retain more. With this objective, inspirational
movies are screened on Saturday evenings and debriefing sessions are conducted after
movie for collaborative learning.

d) Experiential Learning workshop: During this workshop, games are used for learning.
Within an effective game-based learning environment, we work toward a goal, choosing
actions and experiencing the consequences of those actions along the way. We make
mistakes in a risk-free setting, and through experimentation, we actively learn and practice
the right way to do things. This keeps us highly engaged in practicing behaviors and thought
processes that we can easily transfer from the game based environment to real life.

e) Weekend Workshops: For holistic development of our students the institute regularly holds
many additional workshops, on weekends at WeSchool, like Sales Management, The DPSA
Profiling, etc.

With this brief, we now welcome you to the Welingkar Institute's innovative and enriching journey of
Hybrid- PG Learning programs to pave your way to success ……..

Guidelines for giving online Mid Term exams

23
Guidelines for giving online Mid Term exams

1) You will give the mid term exam from home, office or cybercafe during the scheduled
examdates. You can give any subject, any day, any time during the scheduled exam period. You
do not have to book any test slots.

2) You will visit the URL http://attest.co.in/onlineexam/ and key in your username and password.
The username and password will be printed in your student ID card.

3) On authentication, you will see the exam name and the corresponding "Start" button.

4) On clicking "Start", you will be able to access the test paper/instrument.

5) You will be shown a welcome screen, followed by Instruction screens and then you will see a
button named "Start Exam". On clicking the "Start Exam" button, the timer for the exam will
commence and the questions will be displayed on the screen.

6) You will have 'Previous', 'Next' buttons to navigate sequentially and bulleted icons on the right
side showing on which question you are currently in. If you wish, you can jump to any question of
your choice.

7) You will also be provided with a 'Flag' button, which helps you to bookmark the question for your
reference in case you wish to review or come back to the flagged question. Even if you had left the
question in a flagged state, whatever answer you had ticked will be taken into consideration.

8) The bulleted icons will be in Grey colour if the question is unanswered and will turn red if
answered. However, a red flag will appear if the question has been flagged for review.

9) The FINISH/SUBMIT button will appear if and only if all the questions have been viewed at
least once.

10) The time remaining is displayed at the right bottom corner of the screen and will popup a message
when the time remaining is 5 minutes.

11) The student can finish the test within the time remaining or on completion of the time duration, the
test will automatically submit and close .

CAUTION: Once logged in, you cannot login again for the same subject. Hence, please ensure
that you complete the paper when you login the first time only.

Please do not use the back button on the browser or on the keyboard, to avoid session lapse. For
security reasons, nothing is saved in the test node/machine and the entire test content/applets are
downloaded in the system memory and then transmitted back to our test servers towards the end of
the exam and also intermittently during the exam period.

Guidelines for giving online End Semester exams
through Aptech Centre

25
Guidelines for giving online End Semester exams through Aptech Centers

1) You have to give the assignments from selected centres of Aptech. The detailed addresses of
these centres are given through a separate hyperlink on our website.

2) The Aptech centres are open six or seven days a week depending upon location from morning 9
a.m. to evening 6:30 p.m. There are 8 time slots available each day. You can book slots in any
sequence as per your choice on any day, during any of the 8 time slots available between
morning 9:00 a.m. to evening 6:30 p.m.

3) Kindly note, booking once done cannot be cancelled.

Following steps are to be followed for booking test-slots for End Semester exam
1. Visit the URL http://attest.co.in/welexambooking. (This will work only during the booking
period.)
2. Enter your roll no and password. The password is your birth date to be entered as numbers. i.e. if
your birth date is 22nd May, 1982 then you need to enter your password as 22051982.
3. You can view the addresses of all the centres by clicking the "exam centre addresses" on the top
panel.

There are six steps for booking your desired centre, date and time. These are as:
a) Select the Exam Subject.
b) Select the City where you wish to take the test.
c) Select the centre where you wish to take the test
d) Select Date, which is convenientto you.
e) Select Time slot, which is convenient to you. There are 8 slots every day between morning 9:00
a.m. to evening 6:30 pm.
f) Click Submit.

(If any slot is already full, it will be seen in Red color and you have to select any other slot)

Once the details are filled and submit button is clicked, you will get a confirmation page. You may click
"Decline" if you wish to reject your selection and re-select your test-slot. Click on "Accept" to book the
test-slot and press "OK" to generate the hall ticket. Booking once done cannot be cancelled.

As exam slots are booked on 'first come first serve basis', it is advisable to book your exam slots at the
earliest.

All the above steps are selected one after the other and shouldn't be randomly selected. You need to
generate hall-ticket for each of the exam subject.

Once the details are filled, a Hall ticket will be generated, you need to take a print out of the same and
carry it along with your Welingkar ID Card at the test centre at the specified reporting time.

26
You can print the hall ticket any time after you have generated the hall ticket by logging and click on
"Print hall-ticket". You have to generate separate hall tickets for each subject.

The invigilator will assist you with the specific seat and the computer and the test is for 60 minutes.

You have to report 10 minutes before the specified time at the selected Aptech centre on the date
chosen by you. You have to show the hall ticket printed by you at the Centre along with
Welingkar ID Card as well as any other photo identity proof like Pan card/Adhar card/Election
card.

A demo test module is available on our website http://www.welingkaronline.org to help you get
an idea of the various features.
