Installation: Platform Selection

Choose the platform types you want to install on the

local machine. You can choose as many platforms as
you wish. The platform on which you launched the
installation will be selected by default and will be
shown at the bottom of the window.
When you run a platform install (i.e., install another
platform's version onto the current system), all
necessary files are installed. You can then mount to that
installation from the appropriate platform. However,
you may still need to run platform-specific
configuration procedures from that platform before
running an ANSYS, Inc. product.
