1. Candidates should obtain their correct Hall-Ticket furnishing particulars regarding part or parts. Language under
Part I and Optional subject under Part-III for which they are appearing.
2. Candidates who furnish their written Examination, should stand up in their place and should hand over their
answer scripts personally to one of the Superintendents of that hall.
3. No candidates who is permitted to leave the hall, unless the candidate has handed over the answer paper to the
Superintendent.
4. Candidates are prohibited from into the examination hall with any book or portion of a book, slate, Cell Phone
manuscript or paper of any description or communicating with any person inside or outside the examination hall.
5. No blank or written answer sheet should be brought outside the examination hall.
6. Candidates must satisfy the Chief Superintendent and the hall Superintendent as to their Identity. The Certificate
of Identity taken by them must contain their signatures.
7. Candidates should write on both sides of the Answer Books and atleast 20 lines in a page.
8. Additional answer books must be sparingly used and will not be given solely as a matter of course.
9. Any discrepancy in regard to name, initials and subject should immediately be brought to the notice of the
Controller of Examinations through the Chief Superintendent.
10. Any grievance related to examination has to be set right by the concerned candidate prior to the
commencement of next examination.

INTIMATION REGARDING CENTRE OF EXAMINATION
1. Regarding the commencement of examination and Centre of Examinations will be notified before the commencement of
the Examination in leading dailies.
2. Students now studying in the I Year, II Year (or) III Year in the correspondence course should send their examination
application to the DIRECTOR, D.D.E. MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY, MADURAI -625021.
All other private candidate (those who have completed their study in the D.D.E. and Evening College) including bonafide
teacher, and Defence Service Personal should send their examination applications attested by a Gazetted Officer, to the
CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION, MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY.
4. Examination Fees
For Each Paper - Rs.120/- Cost of Application Form - Rs. 60/-
For General Knowledge - Rs.120/- Cost of Computerized Mark Sheet - Rs.120/-
For Environmental Studies - Rs.120/- Postal Charge - Rs. 85/-
Provisional Certificate Fee - Rs.360/- Total - Rs.265/-

(Candidate who appears for III Year papers for the first time must pay Provisional Certificate fee along with examination fees. Application
without details of Centre name and code number will summarily be rejected)
In regard to the fixation of outside centres the candidates are informed that those centres are fixed subject to the
availability of accommodation and the centres may be shifted to another place if sufficient accommodation or sufficient number
of candidates are not available in a centre.
Bonafide Teacher, Bonafide Librarian and Bonafide Defence Service Personal must select a centre within the University
area only.
EXAM. FEE SHOULD NOT BE PAID ON D.D.E. ACCOUNT
7. Fees should be remitted only through SBI “ONLINE PAYMENT” and the copy of the online receipt should be
enclosed with the application.
a) The State Bank of India Madurai and its branches in southern Region
(i.e.) in the State of TAMILNADU, KARNATAKA, ANDHRA PRADESH, KERALA AND PONDICHERRY will
accept the remittance of fees relating to University SBI Power Jyoti Account No.:30983167593
b) Money orders, Cheques, Treasury chalans and Postal orders will not be
accepted under any circumstances.
c) THE FEE ONCE PAID THROUGH SBI “ONLINE PAYMENT”
WILL IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE REFUNDED OR HELD OVER FOR SUBSEQUENT
EXAMINATIONS.
8. Candidates who were not permitted for the whole Examination Previously should now forwarding their application
through D.D.E./Evening College where they underwent the courses along with a certificate.
9. Special Instructions with Regard to Photos.
a) One copy of photograph should be pasted in the space marked in the
application Form and the other to be pasted in the space marked in the identification Certificate.
b) The candidate should sign his / her full signature along the top margin
of each of the photo copies. The signature on the photo copies should confirm in every detail to the signature at the
bottom of the application.
c) The photo pasted on the application and on the identification Certificate
should be the same.
d) Each copy of the candidate's photograph should be attested by Gazetted Officers or Central or State Principals of
college affiliated to this University or Principals of Oriental Title College, principals of Matriculation School,
Headmaster of Government recognised Higher Secondary Schools in the State, Military commissioned officers,
Members of Syndicate, Senate, Academic Council and the Board of the Studies of Madurai Kamaraj University.
10. THE OFFICER WHO SIGNED THE PHOTOGRAPH SHOULD ALSO CERTIFY IN SPACE PROVIDED FOR
THE PURPOSE IN THE APPLICATION FORM TO HIS PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE OF CANDIDATE.
11. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BONAFIDE TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, DEFENCE, SERVICE PERSONNEL
AND PULAVAR TITLE HOLDERS.
a) The above candidates who have appeared for the first year of the B.A.
Degree Non-Semesters Examination should send their original exemption order and the second and third year
candidates should send their xerox copy.
b) They should clearly state the exact optional paper under part - III.
c) They are eligible to appear for the second year of the B.A. Degree
Examination after a lapse of one year subsequent to appear for the second year examination.
12. a) Particulars such as Names : Centre of examination etc. furnished by the candidates in their examination
applications when they first apply / appear for any examination are feed into computer and become record
subsequent appearance other than the one selected for the first time, the computer rejects results processing and
hence the mark statements do not reflect the marks. Therefore the candidate when applying / appearing for the
second time third etc. should appear only at the centre where they first when applied / appeared. Any request
for release of results form candidates who appear at a different centre other than one previously selected when
they first applied appeared will not be entertained.
b) Candidates will be registered for the examination only for the subjects which they have mentioned in their
examination forms even though they have paid the examination fees. Candidates request for results for any
paper which they did not mention in their application form but which he appeared for on their own accord
will not be entertained on any ground.
14. The subject codes details may be see in the Prospectus of the D.D.E. Application.
Example : For I Year English papers LENG02 the candidate must write both LENG01 and LENG02 subjects in a single
sittings and should not be written separately.
For II year English papers LENG04 the candidate must write both LENG03 and LENG04 subjects in a single
sittings
and should not be written separately.
15. Candidates applying for the examination for the first time should pay the fees prescribed for all the papers irrespective of
the number of papers they wise to appear.
Private candidates should apply their examination form along with the exam fees to the additional controller of
