Philosophy of Education

In the future, I want to become an early childhood educator to work with deaf and hard of

hearing children because I love teaching, helping, and working with children. The children teach

me how to become a better person and I love seeing the difference that I can make in the life of a

child, just by being their teacher. The role a teacher plays in the classroom is to teach knowledge

to children. Teachers are given a curriculum and they must follow that meets state guidelines.

Teachers teach in many ways including lectures, small group activities and hands-on learning

activities. Teachers also play an important role in the classroom when it comes to the

environment. Teachers need to be role model to their students because teachers want to show

love and care for them, not just teach the children.

Teachers are responsibility to teach the children from any subjects. The most important

responsibility is to communicate with parents about their children. My belief about how children

learn is that when the classroom and school environment supports their emotional, social,

cultural, and educational needs. My belief is also that the children feel respected and positive

relationship between teacher and student. The methods of teaching are most effective are

building relationships and making connections. The best qualities of an excellent teacher are

organization, good communication with parents, good classroom management skills, and passion

for children and teaching. Teaching is an important career because teachers help young children

to reach their goals. Children learn best when they are both challenged and interested. Inspiring
students is also integral to ensuring their success and encouraging them to fulfill their potential.

Teachers can also be a trusted source of advice for students weighting important life decisions.
