Rotary Table 400A

Art.-No. 5524075

Operating Instructions

Edition 2/03
Product Description

The rotary table is special developed for laser marking of parts and
components.
It is equipped with a rotary table which rotates around 180°.
So it is possible to operate with the laser on the rear side of the table and to
put the next part to be marked on the front side of the table. The turn
movement of the table is controled by the device itself. The turn area is
checked by a light curtain.
The laser has to mount on a Z-axle which can be positioned. The axle will be
controled via computer or via control panel (option).

General Safety Instructions

CAUTION !

- The device is built exclusively to use for laser marking of parts and
components !

- Connect the device to an outlet with the correct voltage !

The device is configured for voltages of 115 to 230 V.
Connect only to a power outlet with a grounded contact.

- The device must only be connected to devices which have extra

low voltage !

- Power must be OFF before plugging in any accessory, connecting

to a computer and before performing any maintenance on the
device ! Also turn the power off on all appliances before
disconnecting from the device !

- Do not expose the device to any moisture, or use in damp or wet

areas !

- Ensure that all loose hanging items, e.g. Jewellery, Clothing, Hair
etc., are kept well clear of the rotating table !

- In an emergency situation, actuate the emergency stop (1) by tight

pressing !
That will interrupt the voltage supply.

Fig. 3 Operation

- Make all connections to the laser, to the computer, to the Z-axle and to
the power supply.
- Switch on the laser.
- Switch on the rotary table on the main switch.
All lights (1, 2) are shining.
- Start the laser software belonging to it.
- Put the part to be marked on the rotary table (3).
- Actuate the keys (1) with both hands.
The 180°-turn of the rotary table (3) is caused by it.
The marking of the part will be done, the lights (1) are shining.
- During the marking of the part on the rear side of the table the next part
can be put on the front side of the table.
By pressing the keys (1) it will be confimed that a new part is available on
the front side of the tabel. The lamps are not shining.
- If the operating process is finished the completed part will be turned
outward and the next part will be turned inward.
During the marking of a part the lamps are shining so far as the next part
is put in and the input will be confirmed.
The operating process can be start again.
- The lights (1) are flashing (error message), if the rotary table is not in the
180°-position.
To correct the error press down the keys (1) again until the table has
reached the 180°-position.
