Display Foldback Hardware

In order to use the foldback feature in EasyWorship, your computer should meet or exceed
the HD system requirements found on our System Requirements page. There are multiple
ways to configure your computer hardware to support a third monitor for display foldback.
See the different options below.

Option 1 Matrox DualHead2Go

If you have a dual output videocard that meets our HD hareware requirements, you can use
the Matrox DualHead2Go box. The DualHead2Go comes in three editions. Analog, Digital
and DP. Select the one that meets your connection requirements.

The Analog Edition is the cheapest of the three and only has VGA connections. It has a
maximum resolution of 2 x 1280 x 1024.

4:3 resolutions for EasyWorship with this box are 2 x 800x600 or 2 x 1024x768

16:9 resolution for EasyWorship with this box is 2 x 1280 x 720.

The Digital Edition has two DVI outputs on it. It has a maximum resolution of 2 x 1920 x
1200.

4:3 resolutions for EasyWorship with this box are 2 x 800x600, 2 x 1024x768, 2 x
1280x1024.

16:9 resolutions for EasyWorship with this box are 2 x 1280 x 720 and 2 x 1920x1080

Option 2 NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650 - 690/750-790

with 3D Surround Technology
The NVIDIA 650 - 690 graphics cards allow you to use all four video ports if needed. No
ports are disabled. You do not need to purchase a Matrox DualHead2Go in conjuctions
with these video cards.

With these cards, you will extend the windows desktop on to each monitor in the display
settings, then set EasyWorship to use the appropriate monitor for the Front of House and
Foldback Screens.

Selecting the right video card for EasyWorship

The video card is one of the most important components to consider when buying a computer
for running EasyWorship. You can have a very fast processor, hard drive and memory in
your computer, but if the video card is not up to par, your videos will lag and jerk and will
not transition smoothly. Here are the video cards that we recommend for use with
EasyWorship. Below there is more information that will help you purchase the right video
card.

If you have any questions about what video card to buy after reading this information
please call support before purchasing a video card.

NVIDIA Model Recommendations

HD / Foldback - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650/750, 660/760 or better.
(The Matrox DualHead2Go is not required for foldback with this card. Click Here for more
information about foldback hardware)

SD - NVIDIA GeForce 540, 640 equivalent or better.

Basic - Any dual output NVIDIA GeForce Graphics card with 128 MB video memory.

ATI / AMD Model Recommendations (Please note

we prefer using NVIDIA Graphics cards)
HD / Foldback - ATI / AMD Radeon HD 5850 / 6850, 7850 equivalent or better.

SD - ATI / AMD Radeon HD 5570 / 6670, 7670 equivalent or better.

Basic - Any dual output ATI / AMD graphics card with 128 MB video memory.

Power Supply Requirements:

Check with the video card manufacturer to verify the minimum power supply wattage
required for the video card you are purchasing. This information is normally printed on the
box with the system requirements or under detailed information about the video card on the
website you are purchasing from. You can check the wattage of your power supply by
opening the computer case and looking at the sticker on the side of it.

Video Card Memory:

The ammount of video memory on the video card should not be a deciding factor when
purchsing a video card. The Graphics Processing Unit or (GPU) should be considered
first. For marketing resons many low end video cards will have large amounts of video
memory but the video processor is very slow. See: Understanding Video Card Model
Numbers if you need help determining how well a certain video card model will perform.
Example: An NVIDIA GeForce 610 with 2 Gigabytes of Video Memory would not perform
as well as an NVIDIA GeForce 660 with 1 Gigabyte of video memory.

What about laptops?

Laptops do not need a special video card. Most new laptops will have the ability to run
EasyWorship. The screen on the laptop is used for the control screen and the video port on
the laptop connects to a projector or TV to handle the output from EasyWorship. Most new
laptops have a video card that will meet our SD requirments. See the recommenations above
for HD requirments. We do not recommend using a laptop with the ATI / AMD Video
card models 6300, 4000, 3000 series.

Will a USB, Wireless & Network Video Adapters &

Projectors work with EasWorship?
EasyWorship does not work with projectors that connect to your local area network. These
devices normally require a software that sends screen captures to the projector via your local
area network. Windows is not able to see these types of devices as a secondary video card,
and cannot extend the windows desktop to that network device. Therefore, EasyWorship
cannot use that device to send output to.

USB wireless video cards and USB video cards are not recommended for use with
EasyWorship. USB video devices will not be able to support the directX functions required
for text over video, video transitions and many other functions in EasyWorship.

EasyWorship can use a device that is connected to the secondary video port on your video
card. For example a standard monitor, projector or a Wireless PC to TV Converter that uses a
sending and receiving unit to transmit video data to the projector will . You could see some
delay with these devices.
NVIDIA Quadro & ATI / AMD Fire GL / Fire Pro Cards
NVIDIA Quadro and ATI / AMD Fire GL/FirePro cards are not recommended for use with
EasyWorship. They are designed specifically for professional video / image editing and
CAD. EasyWorship needs graphics cards normally considered Mid to High end video gaming
graphics cards for best performance. The ATI / AMD Radeon HD or NVIDIA GeForce are
designed for gaming and every day consumer use.
Understanding Video Card Model Numbers

The two major video card manufacturers are ATI / AMD and NVIDIA. They both have their own model schemes that you can
use to help determine what video card to purchase.

ATI / AMD RADEON HD

ATI / AMD uses a four digit system. The first number is the series ranging from 2 - 7. The next is the performance band within
that segment. Two thru Four (2 - 4) being the lowest performance and nine (9) being the Highest performance. The next two
numbers determines performance within each band. Zero (00-50) being lowest performance and (90) the highest performance.
The 6450 is the is the lowest performaing graphics card in the 6000 series. The 6700 sereis cards are considered the mid
range card in the 6000 series and anything above the 6770 is considered a high performance card. You can find a list of ATI /
AMD graphics cards on their website.

Example: The ATI 4770, 5770 and AMD 6770 will perform pretty much the same. The newer model will usually have the ability
to accomodate newer techology that was not available in the older version.

Performance Examples:

Low Performance : Radeon HD 6450, 7450

Mid Performance : Radeon HD 6770, 7770

High Performance : Radeon HD 6850, 7850

Ultra Performance : Radeon HD 6950, 7950

NVIDA GEFORCE

NVIDIA currently uses a three number model structure, but used to use a simliar structure to the ATI / AMD cards. Like the ATI
/ AMD cards the first number is the series. The next number ranges from 1 being the lowest performance in that series to 9
being the highest performance in that series. The next number is usually a 0 or a 5. The 5 usually means that they have added
something to the card to make it perform better. The NVIDA GeForce GT 510 is the lowest performing video card in that series.
The GT 540 is the mid range card and anything above the 550 is considered to be a high performance card. You can find a list
of NVIDIA graphics cards on their website.

Example: The NVIDIA 240, 440 and 540 will perform pretty much the same. The newer model will usually have the ability to
accomodate newer techology that was not available in the older version.

Performance Examples:

Low Performance : GeForce GT 510, 610

Mid Performance : GeForce GT 540, 640

High Performance : GeForce GTX 550, 560, 650, 660, 750, 760

Ultra Performance : GeForce GTX 580, 680, 780

The Asus N series always oozes class; entertainment laptops that pride on excellent sound
quality and stunning display. The Asus N550JK –CN113H is no exception with its awesome
built quality and sleek lines. Finished in silver color, the aluminium built laptop is practically
a work of art but with familiarity written all over.

The Microsoft Windows 8.1 laptop comes with a 15.6” 16:9 1920 X 1080 pixels HD 1080p
matte display that certainly delivers sharp and vivid images. The processor is an Intel Core i7
4700HQ clocked at 2.4 GHz with maximum turbo frequency of 3.4 GHz, 16 GB DDR3 RAM
1600 and 256 GB hard drive size. There is an Nvidia GeForce GTX850M with 2 GB memory
graphic processor packed into the hardware which makes it more than capable for gaming
and graphic intensive applications.

The Asus N550JK-CN113H comes equipped with a Blu-ray drive, 3 USB 3.0 ports and all
other standard features expected from modern high-end laptops. The battery is a lithium cell
that lasts around 4 hours and is one area that could have seen improvement. Weighing in at
just 2.7 kg, the laptop is not too heavy to carry around. In conclusion, the Asus N550JK-
CN113H certainly will perform well while maintaining its good looks.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M: Upper mid-range graphics card from the GeForce GTX
800M series.

These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high
resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for
desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo
mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU
can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still

ASUS ROG G751JY merupakan salah satu laptop premium dari ASUS

Metrotvnews.com: Laptop biasanya ditenagai prosesor khusus yang rendah daya, serta
mengedepankan mobilitas ketimbang performa. Namun seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi,
laptop yang hadir saat ini kebanyakan telah ditenagai oleh komponen yang cukup mumpuni untuk
melakukan pekerjaan berat, seperti bermain game atau melakukan pengolahan video. Dari situlah
konsep laptop gaming muncul.

ASUS adalah salah satu produsen yang gencar menghadirkan produk laptop gaming. Salah satunya
adalah ROG G751JY, yang termasuk jajaran laptop gaming teratas dari ASUS.

Desain

Sama seperti laptop gaming pada umumnya, ASUS ROG G751JY memiliki bodi yang cukup gemuk,
dengan ketebalan hingga 53 milimeter. Laptop ini juga cukup berat, dengan bobot 4,8 Kilogram
termasuk baterai. Meskipun demikian, ukuran dan bobotnya masih terbilang wajar untuk sebuah
laptop gaming. Tidak hanya itu, saya pun masih dapat membawa laptop ini kemana-mana tanpa
merasakan berat yang berlebihan.
ASUS ROG G751JY dilengkapi dengan berbagai port yang sangat lengkap. Dari sisi display output, ia
memiliki tiga buah port, yaitu Mini D-SUB (VGA), HDMI, dan MiniDisplay Port. Sedangkan dari segi
audio-nya, ia memiliki 3,5 milimeter jack audio output, 3,5 milimeter jack microphone input, dan
sebuah SPDIF audio jack. Laptop ini juga dilengkapi dengan sebuah port Ethernet (LAN), empat buah
port USB 3.0, dan sebuah SD card reader.

Pada unit yang saya terima, ASUS ROG G751JY dilengkapi dengan sebuah BluRay Writer, namun
pihak ASUS mengkonfirmasi bahwa versi yang akan dipasarkan di Indonesia tak akan dilengkapi
dengan BluRay Writer, dan akan digantikan dengan sebuah DVD Writer.
ASUS ROG G751JY dilengkapi dengan layar IPS berukuran 17,3-inci dengan resolusi Full HD (1.920 x
1.080 pixel). Meskipun frame (bingkai) layarnya cukup tebal, layarnya adalah salah satu yang terbaik
yang pernah saya jumpai. Ia mampu menghasilkan warna dengan sangat baik, jelas dan jernih.
Kemampuan layarnya tersebut sangat terasa ketika digunakan untuk mengedit video atau gambar,
serta ketika bermain game.

Laptop ini dilengkapi dengan dua buah kipas dengan dua ventilasi di bagian belakangnya. Tidak
hanya itu, bagian belakangnya memiliki desain yang menyerupai mobil balap. Kedua kipas tersebut
adalah salah satu kunci performa laptop ini ketika digunakan baik untuk bermain game ataupun
kegiatan lain yang memerlukan tenaga besar.

Selain itu, ia tergolong sangat ergonomis. Desain permukaannya yang menanjak memudahkan
pengguna ketika menggunakan keyboard.
Performa

Sebagai laptop gaming kelas premium, ASUS membekali ROG G751JY dengan setumpuk komponen
kelas atas. Komponen tersebut berhasil membuat laptop ini memiliki performa yang sangat tinggi.
ASUS ROG G751JY ditenagai prosesor Intel Core i7 4720HQ dengan kecepatan hingga 3,6 GHz.

Prosesor kelas atas untuk laptop tersebut juga dipadukan dengan chip grafis kelas atas dan teranyar
dari NVIDIA, yaitu GeForce GTX 980M dengan VRAM 4GB. Perpaduan keduanya membuat laptop
gaming ini mampu melibas seluruh game dan pengujian grafis yang saya lakukan kepadanya.
Selain kehadiran dua komponen premium tersebut, laptop ini juga dilengkapi dengan sebuah SSD
sebesar 128GB sebagai penyimpanan utamanya dengan tambahan sebuah HDD sebesar 1TB sebagai
penyimpanan tambahan.

Kehadiran SSD membuat laptop ini dapat masuk ke dalam Windows dari keadaan mati hanya dalam
waktu kurang dari 10 detik. SSD juga membuat pengoperasian program lain berjalan dengan sangat
kencang. Untuk versi pasar Indonesia, ASUS melengkapi laptop ini dengan paket pilihan SSD sebesar
8GB atau SSD sebesar 512GB.

Pengujian grafis pertama yang saya lakukan adalah dengan menggunakan 3DMark dengan mode
pengujian Fire Strike. Dalam mode pengujian tersebut, laptop ini memperoleh skor yang tergolong
sangat tinggi, yaitu sebesar 8.630, dengan framerate selalu di atas 30 fps.
Saya juga menggunakan tiga game untuk diuji pada laptop ini, yaitu Ryse: Son of Rome, GTA V, dan
FarCry 4. Ketiganya berhasil disajikan dengan rata-rata framerate 60 fps pada pengaturan grafis
maksimal. Hanya pengaturan MSAA, dan pengaturan ekstrem pada FarCry 4 saja yang tak saya
gunakan dalam pengujian game kali ini.

Kemampuan multitasking pun sangat terjamin pada laptop gaming ini. Pada unit yang saya terima,
G751JY dibekali RAM sebesar 16GB. Hal tersebut sudah sangat mumpuni untuk sebuah laptop
gaming, karena rata-rata game terbaru hanya memerlukan RAM sebesar 6GB.

Dengan RAM 16GB, Anda dapat melakukan berbagai kegiatan yang memerlukan tenaga ekstra,
seperti melakukan rendering video dengan menggunakan Adobe After Effect yang juga sempat saya
coba dan terpantau menghabiskan RAM hingga 13GB.
Beralih ke pengujian performa umum dengan menggunakan PC Mark, ASUS ROG G751JY juga
berhasil memperoleh skor yang sangat tinggi, sebesar 4.192. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa
laptop ini sangat perkasa untuk digunakan selain dari kegiatan bermain game.

Satu-satunya kekurangannya adalah daya tahan baterai yang hanya sekitar 2 jam dengan
menggunakan WiFi, dan hampir 3 jam ketika tidak menggunakan WiFi. Hal tersebut membuatnya
sangat tidak direkomendasikan untuk mereka yang mengutamakan mobilitas.
Fitur

ASUS ROG G751JY dilengkapi dengan berbagai fitur khusus untuk menunjang kegiatan bermain
game. Fitur pertama datang dari keyboard yang dilengkapi dengan backlight berwarna merah.
Meskipun warnanya tidak bisa diganti, kehadiran backlight tersebut sangat membantu, apalagi saat
bermain game dalam ruangan gelap atau kurang cahaya.

Selain backlight, keyboard ASUS ROG G751JY juga hadir dengan tiga tombol makro yang dapat diatur
sesuai dengan keinginan Anda. Pengaturan tombol makro dapat diakses melalui aplikasi ASUS
Gaming Center yang juga dapat diakses melalui sebuah tombol khusus yang berada satu tempat
dengan tombol numpad.
G751JY juga memiliki dua tombol istimewa yang sangat jarang atau mungkin tak pernah terdapat di
laptop gaming lainnya, yaitu tombol launcher untuk Steam dan NVIDIA ShadowPlay. Kehadiran
keduanya tentu sangat memudahkan Anda untuk menjalankan aplikasi Steam dan merekam game
yang sedang Anda mainkan dengan menggunakan fitur NVIDIA ShadowPlay.

Fitur lainnya adalah ROG Game First III, yang merupakan sebuah aplikasi khusus untuk memantau
dan mengatur prioritas pada program yang sedang berjalan. Aplikasi ini secara otomatis akan
membuat G751JY memprioritaskan game yang sedang dimainkan ketimbang aplikasi lainnya.
Hasilnya, sesi bermain game menjadi lebih lancar dan tak terganggu karena sebagian besar sumber
daya laptop ini dialihkan dan diprioritaskan untuk kebutuhan bermain game.
Kesimpulan

ASUS ROG G751JY merupakan salah satu laptop gaming paling bertenaga yang ada di pasar
Indonesia saat ini. Laptop yang menggunakan komponen premium ini memiliki performa yang
sangat tinggi, baik dari segi gaming, maupun segi aplikasi lainnya. Meskipun memiliki bobot yang
cukup berat dan dimensi yang cukup besar, ia masih cukup mobile dan mudah untuk dibawa
bepergian.

Di pasar Indonesia, laptop ini terbagi dalam dua tipe. Pertama, menggunakan SSH sebesar 8GB dan
RAM sebesar 8GB. Sedangkan tipe kedua adalah yang menggunakan SSD sebesar 512GB dan RAM
sebesar 32GB.

Untuk merasakan performa hebat laptop ini, Anda juga harus menebusnya dengan harga
"premium", yaitu Rp24.599.000 untuk tipe yang pertama, dan Rp33.299.000 untuk tipe yang kedua.
Menurut saya pribadi, harga tersebut masih tergolong wajar untuk menebus performa dan fiturnya.

The Asus N series always oozes class; entertainment laptops that pride on excellent sound
quality and stunning display. The Asus N550JK –CN113H is no exception with its awesome
built quality and sleek lines. Finished in silver color, the aluminium built laptop is practically
a work of art but with familiarity written all over.

The Microsoft Windows 8.1 laptop comes with a 15.6” 16:9 1920 X 1080 pixels HD 1080p
matte display that certainly delivers sharp and vivid images. The processor is an Intel Core i7
4700HQ clocked at 2.4 GHz with maximum turbo frequency of 3.4 GHz, 16 GB DDR3 RAM
1600 and 256 GB hard drive size. There is an Nvidia GeForce GTX850M with 2 GB memory
graphic processor packed into the hardware which makes it more than capable for gaming
and graphic intensive applications.

The Asus N550JK-CN113H comes equipped with a Blu-ray drive, 3 USB 3.0 ports and all
other standard features expected from modern high-end laptops. The battery is a lithium cell
that lasts around 4 hours and is one area that could have seen improvement. Weighing in at
just 2.7 kg, the laptop is not too heavy to carry around. In conclusion, the Asus N550JK-
CN113H certainly will perform well while maintaining its good looks.

These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high
resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for
desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo
