Lani Grass
Twenty years as an entrepreneur have taught Lani that if you want to have the life of your dreams, you must have courage, a
clear vision, and a solid strategy. She’s learned that the secret to success is not being afraid to take massive imperfect
action, which allows you to move forward in life confidently, without being paralyzed while waiting for every little detail to be
perfect.
Working in corporate jobs with companies like Nordstrom’s taught her that being the best at something that isn’t in alignment
with your core values is never going to be sustainable, and it doesn’t give you the flexibility to lead a life well lived.
Now a personal branding and confidence coach, Lani spends her days working with clients on identifying who they are
authentically, what drives their motivation, and then helps women create a pathway to stepping into their vision to create the
life they want.
Her company, Backstage, is built upon a foundation of building confidence for women, a passion for finding hidden potential,
and a commitment to help others add value to the world while unleashing their inner greatness.

Vanessa Peterson
Dr. Vanessa Peterson's top value is personal growth and leadership. She is a board certified orthodontist with a bunch of
accolades (if you really want to know, ask her). She has worked in corporate dentistry, was the chief orthodontic specialist at
a large healthcare organization, and currently owns her own private practice in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Dr. Peterson wants to
change the world, starting with women in dentistry. She has a heart for women trying to do it all, frankly, because she is one
of them. She has spent years spending boat loads of money and time on life coaches, leadership books, conferences, and
the like to learn habits and principles that allow her to be content and excited about being a business owner, a clinician, a
mom, and a lover of outdoor adventuring. In her free time, she hangs out with other moms chasing 1 year olds at music

Current adhesive restorative procedures demand a complete isolation of the preparation before the bonding of the

conditions permit. This presentation will walk the attendees through the deep margin elevation technique, and it will provide

MidLevel Providers
Across the country, states are struggling to address access to care. This is especially true for children where only 46% of
children on Medicaid received preventative care. More than 50 countries utilize a mid-level provider known as a dental
therapist to address this issue. In 2017, nine years after dental therapy legislation in Minnesota was signed into law, the
federal government sent a warning to the state. Even with dental therapists, only 37% of Minnesota children on Medicaid
received care. The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services gave Minnesota 90 days to develop an improvement
plan. There are now ten states that recognize the profession with several other states actively considering passing
legislation. Are dental therapist increasing access to care or are they a danger to the public? Join this interactive and
informative breakout session to learn more!
