3. Then, play a video on the Thailand Tsunami 2004.

TIME 5. Teacher writes sentences on the board. (refer to TB page 111).
9 am – 10 am 6. Teacher gets the pupils to read the sentences.
(60 minutes) 7. Teacher tells the pupils that words in bold are called comparative and superlative
adjectives.
Focus : 8. Teacher explains to pupils that comparative adjectives are used to compare two nouns.
Grammar Superlatives nouns are used to compare more than two nouns.
9. Show power point slides on comparative and superlative adjectives or get the pupils to
refer to TB page 111 for more examples.

3. Discuss the answers with pupils.

Topic: 4. Select a few groups to present in front of the class. Discuss the answers with the pupils.

1. Pupils work with the same groups. Get pupils to look at the pictures in the short story.
Content Standard: 2. Pupils can discuss the pictures very quickly with their group members.

character. Once they have matched, discuss with pupils.
