A. Scope:

1.0 Step-01: Energization of 11 kV cable from SHB-A-PU1/K08 to SB 0054/K04 & Energization of SB 0054.

B. Energization Prerequisite.

1.3 Clearance to energize certificate for SB 0054 and SB

concerned.
1.4 Confirm that no earthing applied in the circuit to be

C. SWITCHING PROGRAMS.

Step-1: Energization of 11 kV cable from SHB-A-PU1/K08 to SB 0054/K04 & Energization of SB 0054.

A. Pre-Energization conditions.

1.1 a. Confirm no alarm persisting at K08 of SHB-A-PU1 and
SB 0054.
b. Confirm E/Sw. Q5 and CB Q0 for K08 at SHB-A-PU1 are
open and all line isolator Q1 and CB Q0 at SB 0054 are
open.
Contractor/Consultant
c. Protection settings adapted and trip test has been

done.
d. All 11kV cables tested and connected at SB 0054/K04
& SHB-A-PU1/K08.
e. Reduce TMS to minimum for O/C & E/F protection of
K08 of SHB-A-PU1.

B. Energization of 11 kV cable from K08 of SHB-A-PU1 to SB 0054.

in 11 kV switch gear at SHB-A-PU1 and SB 0054.
b. Close CB Q0 of K08 at SHB-A-PU1. The 11kV cable
from K08 at SHB-A-PU1 to SB 0054/K04 is now Contractor/Consultant
/AADC
energized.
c. Confirm that 11 kV cable is normal.

C. Energization of 11kV SB 0054

Step-02: Energization of 11/0.415 kV Transformer-1&2 at SB 0054 and respective LVAC.

b. All Isolator and O/G Fuses are open, no earthing and
power supply connected to LVAC.
c. Close line isolator Q1 and CB Q0 of TR-1 & 2 at SB
0054.(K02&K03) Contractor/Consultant
d. TR-1 & 2 is energized. /AADC
e. Energize respective LVAC by closing incoming Isolator
of incomer-1 & 2 one by one; Isolator of B/S shall be
open.
f. Confirm phase sequences and measure voltage.
g. Close all O/G Fuses if necessary to feed the load.

Step-03: Energization of 11 kV cable from SB 0054/K01 to SB 0052/K01 and Energization of SB 0052.

3.1 are terminated and no earth applied in the cable
anywhere.
b. Confirm isolator Q1 & CB Q0 at SB 0052 / K01, K02,
K03 & K04 are open.

c. Close corresponding isolator Q1 and CB Q0 at SB
/AADC
0054/K01. The cable from SB 0054/K01 to SB
0052/K01 is energized.
d. Close corresponding isolator Q1 and CB Q0 at SB
0052/K01.
e. Confirm SB 0052 is energized

Step-04: Energization of 11/0.415 kV Transformer-1&2 at SB 0052 and respective LVAC.

Step-05: Energization of 11 kV cable from SHB-A-PU2/K07 to SB 0052/K04.

PU2/K07 and Isolator Q1 and CB Q0 are open at SB
0052/K04.

done for SHB-A-PU2/K07.
d. 11kV cable tested and connected at both ends at SHB-
A-PU2/K07 and SB 0052/K04.
e. Reduce TMS to minimum for O/C & E/F protection of Contractor/Consultant
SHB-A-PU2/K07. /AADC
f. Check no personnel available in 11 kV switch gear at
SHB-A-PU2/K07and SB 0052.
g. Close CB Q0 of SHB-A-PU2/K07. The 11kV cable from
SHB-A-PU2/K07 to SB 0052/K04 is now energized.
h. Confirm that 11 kV cable is normal.
i. NOTE: NOP at SB 0052/K04.
Normalize all protection settings.
