XFS Communications, Inc. was founded in 2008 by experienced Taiwanese fiberoptic

specialists, under a strategic partnership with NTT Advanced Technology Corp. (NTT-AT) in
Japan.

We are experts in high-end fiber connectivity products. Our specialty is in extremely low
insertion loss and high return loss optical termination technology which has led to the
development of number of products including connectors, adapters, patchcords,
pre-terminated cables and MPO/MTP multi-fiber cabling systems, with both exceptional optical

Revolutionary Manufacturing Process

Optical jumpers are the fundamental building blocks for every fiber network.For the past 30
years, Mr. Charles Sun, the founder of XFS, and his team have focused only on making the
finest optical jumpers in the world. This dedication to perfection has enabled XFS to
manufacture the optical jumpers with the highest quality and performance level in the industry.
More importantly, XFS is able to produce the "Grade A" optical jumpers at "Grade C" cost,
thanks to its revolutionary manufacturing process.

XFS' manufacturing process is the culmination of an extremely focused R&D work for over
three decades. It is the combination of machines, materials, operation procedures and quality
systems. Tremendous effort has been put on these aspects on a daily basis for realizing the
unthinkable feat in the past: every patchcord is with mastercordperformance and quality level
manufactured at low cost and super high efficiency.

products, the highest standard in the industry:

 Multimode: Insertion loss <0.1dB; Return loss ≥45dB
 MPO/MTP multi-fiber connector:
 Single mode: Insertion loss ≤0.25dB; Return loss ≥65dB (APC), ≥50dB (UPC)

MPO/MTP cable

MPO connectors are well-suited for high-density, high-traffic applications including data centers
and central offices. XFS' proprietary MPO manufacturing process employs the most advanced
polishing technology for producing MPO connectors with the best optical performance in the
industry, achieving extremely low insertion loss without using low loss MT ferrules.XFS can
offer 4, 8, 12, 24 and 48-fiber MPO assemblies, with ribbon, flat and round cable structure
options. We can also provide MPO assemblies with IP (waterproof) connectivity.

NTT-AT Partnership

It has been more than 20 years of collaboration between XFS’ management team and NTT-AT
on fiber optic technology development. For that XFS has the access to NTT-AT’s most
advanced technologies for enhancing products’ performance, increasing production efficiency
and creating new product lines. A great deal amount of NTT-AT’s fiber optic-related materials,
tooling, equipment and production/testing process were firstly adopted by XFS, and over the
years XFS has become the one who truly understands how to make the most out of NTT-AT’s
fine technologies to benefit our customers eventually.

XFS has also served as the major supplier of high-end fiber patchcords and MPO/MTP
assemblies to NTT-AT, and the exclusive OEM for NTT-AT’s fiber connectivity products.
Besides, XFS and NTT-AT have jointly developed fiber optic technologies, including
polishing-related tools and materials, and co-filed the patents of Autoshutter SC Connectors.
