Programming Skill Practice for 3rd Year Students

(A) For Students of CSE / IT / SWE :


1. All students of CSE/IT/SWE would mandatorily register under their respective faculty advisors for each of the
four courses of C, C++, Java and Data Structures respectively.
2. Students Completing (Level-1=100% Level-2=60% Level-3=40%) in C, C++, Java and Data Structures will
be given “eLab Professional Level Completion Certificate” upon successful completion.
3. Students Completing 100% in Level-1 in Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Python, C#, Ruby, Haskell will be
given “eLab Beginner Level Competition Certificate” upon successful completion.

(B) For Students of ALL Other Departments (except CSE, IT, SWE) :

1. Any student willing to learn Programming skills can register under the assigned faculty advisor for one or more
from the list of available courses of C, C++, Java, Data Structures, Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Python,
C#, Ruby and Haskell.

2. Students Completing 100% in Level-1 in one or more of the above courses will be given “eLab Beginner Level
Competition Certificate” upon successful completion.

Registration Procedure
Step 1: Type the following Link: http://care.srmuniv.ac.in/ktrskill/
Step 2: Click “Options” link and “Choose” -----> (Registration)

Step 3: “Choose” -----> (Registration) ---->STUDENT REGISTER.

Step 4: Read the Instructions in the pop up and Click “Agree”.


Step 5: Registration Number: 15 Digit student id and Password min 8 characters and answer the security questions (Note:
Special Characters are not allowed)

Step 6: After successful self registration, student will get “Registration Successful” message.
Step 7: Students needs to click “LOGIN” and enter the username (Registration number) and password.
Initially there won’t be any course “registered” or “enrolled” in eLab Tool. Click Add icon to register for the course.
Details are shown in figure below.
Step 8: Choose your courses respectively “C, CPP, Java, Data structures etc.,” check box and Choose your respective
“Faculty Advisor” from the select faculty drop down list and click Send Request button.
(Note: If you are a student of any Dept. other than CSE / IT / SWE then choose “987654-OtherFacultyAdvisor”)

Step 9: Upon completing step 7, kindly intimate to your “Faculty advisor” and only your faculty advisor will “ACCEPT”
your request. Then you will get the dashboard similar to the below image.
(Note: If you are a student of any Dept. other than CSE / IT / SWE, then wait for a day, the system would automatically
approve your request)

Step 10: Kindly click “Evaluate” button to save your code even if your program has errors. Evaluate button acts as a
saving mechanism apart from checking test-cases.
