Report Writing

Recently, I have attended a talk on how to help the less fortunate in your community. As the president of
the Civic and Citizenship society, I have been asked to write a report for the principal of your school. In
your report, include the following note:

Ways to help the needy:

1. Donate money
 To ease their burden
 People at warzone
2. Donate unwanted items
 Clothing, school supplies, books
 Send to the orphanage
3. Become a volunteer
 Give tuition for free
 Spend time at the old-folks’ home
4. Participate in fundraising events
 Take part in any charity event
 Promote the events to other in the society

Remember to:

 Use the correct format for a report

 Address the receiver properly
 Use all the notes given
 Elaborate on the points given
 The second way to help the needy is to donate unwanted
items.
As a start, we can take part in any charity events organized by non-
governmental organisation

We should promote the fundraising events to the others in the
society.
For example, we can cook for the elderly or even read books for
them.

elderly happy.
The unwanted items that are still in good condition can be sent to
the orphanage
During our free time, we can give tuition for free.
We can also take part in any charity event such as Fun Run For
Palestine
The last way to help the needy is to participate in fundraising
events.
