He too is a proud product of Leo Club of Mahanama College. He joined it in 2011 and become a director due to his exceptional commitment towards Leoism. After completing his education at Mahanama College Leo Sahan didn’t want to put a stop to activities he had been doing as a Leo nor did he want to join an existing club. He initiated a club of his own with the guidance of Lion’s Club of Nawala and it’s the Leo club of Nawala Metro. As a young enthusiast and a resourceful person, Sahan proceeded with the inspirations he received from the previous Club. The charter president of Leo Club of Nawala Metro had a good vision and that took us into a greater heights. In the very first Multiple District conference after establishing the club, Nawala Metro became the most outstanding Leo Club in Sri Lanka in the year 2013/14 demonstrating his outstanding leadership skills. Leo Sahan has served in the ict council as well and has been awarded as the most outstanding Activity Director in the District 306 C2. Leo Sahan is a marvelous personality. We are grateful to him for inaugurating a leo Club which we all feel proud to be in. Also, on the Fifth Anniversary of Leo Club of Nawala Metro, he too must be proud of the club he started by looking at the achievements and reputation it has achieved.ea Z sy > 5 re x Z =) c) Z ci sy a va eo) ce | PRESIDENT 2014/1 LEO CLUB OF NAWALA METRO Leo Vishan is the current District President of the Leo District 306 C2. He is family to us because he was a charter member of the Leo Club of Nawala Metro and especially he was a past president of our club. He plays a prominent role as a leader who guides us through the way in Leo movement. Vishan successfully completed his education at Mahanama College, Colombo 03 and his higher studies were completed at Skyline Aeronautical Engineering Training Academy with flying colors. He joined Leo as a member of the Leo Club of Mahanama College. Since then, he has held many responsibilities and positions in the Leo Club of Mahanama College, in the Leo Club of Nawala Metro and also in the district 306 C2. Most important thing is he has given his best in every position he held and at every role he played. In the journey to become the Vice President of the district 306 C2 he has been a secretary, an adviser for Leo Club Presidents, a director and always a good Leo whois dedicated to the movement at any time. So his dedication, sacrifices and outstanding skills led him to achieve various awards from the District 306 C2 and the Multiple Dis 306. He was awarded as the Best President of the District 306 C2 in the Leoistic year 2014/15 where he brought the Leo Club of Nawala Metro to be the most Outstanding Club in the District 306 C2 and also in the Multiple District 306 winning many other awards aswell. On this special day of our precious club, or in other words NM family, we would like to say a “big thank you” for bringing the club above Excellency and for always being there for us.
