INTRODUCTION
The information you are about to receive from this reading of your Odu,
which was revealed during Itenifa ( Ifa initiation) is the workings of the
dynamic forces within you, which were formed by your emanation and at
the point of your existence on this terrestrial plane. Also, it bothers on the
cosmic forces that are spiritual and beyond your control.
The dynamic forces are your potentials, natural qualities and strength of
your character to be controlled in order to strengthen your public image and
boost your popularity. Whereas, the cosmic forces or components are from
Ayanmo, Akunleyan and Akunlegba, these three components are loosely
described as Destiny or Heavenly gift/virtues.
The Ayanmo is interplay to forces, which are usually divine, and in

consonant with the inventive precepts of Olodumare (The Almighty God of
creation). Ayanmo of your life cannot be changed. Once you are created
with it, it remains so till the expiration of your life on this planet earth.
Ayanmo includes sex of an individual, race, family, parent, growth, and
other natural rules of which an individual must tow and obey.
Akunleyan are the virtues and values chosen in heaven consequent upon
your actions/activities in your previous evolution or existence. They are
actually things chosen by you and most of the time form your likes and
dislikes or taboo.
Akunlegba are the gifts or virtues added by various Irunmole at the

presence of Onibode (celestial sentinel) in heaven or just before you
emanate into the world. They are like spices, additives, preservatives, and

vehicles of propagation of Ayanmo and Akunleyan or things that
complement the Akunleyan in order to fulfill your destiny on earth.
The reading of your Odu helps to determine or reveal your talent

limitations, assets, shortcomings, possibilities and probabilities. You should
use the appropriate ebo (sacrifice) which has same polarity and magnetism
to your Odu in order to discover love, fortune health, hope, happiness,
fulfilment in life and longevity.
You should also avoid such things, which may hinder your talents, or
discoveries by observing your taboos as explained to you during your
Itenifa (Ifa initiation)

Pre-initiation Divination (Àdáwọgbódù)
Pre-initiation divination (Adawogbodu) is usually done before a would-be

initiate enters the Ifa grove. The essence of this divination is to reveal the
present situation of things about the person. It states further and justifies
the need or necessity for the initiation. Sometimes, a clue or hint is
revealed about any unforeseen problems that may arise in the
course/process of initiation. Sometimes too it gives a guide or direction to
be followed or observed during the initiation.
The appropriate ebo (sacrifice) is done immediately, so that a hitch free

initiation is achieved, and to correct or amend any sad or ugly occurrences
that might have beset the would-be initiate.

Post Initiation Divination (Ìta)
Ita, in simple translation means the post initiation divination usually done on
the third day of Itenifa (Ifa Initiation). The significance of Ita is to reveal the
situation of things surrounding the initiate which may likely happen in the
near future. It acts as a support to the Odu revealed at initiation. Through
this divination, a babalawo is told by Ifa if all the rituals and rites of initiation
had been divinely endorsed by the Irunmole and ultimately by God.
Ita, also re-emphasises and re-validates certain messages that are

sacrosanct in the main Odu reveal at initiation.
Sacrifices (ebo) are made immediately in order to engender good tidings

and possibly prevent any unhealthy occurrence that may arise in the near
future.

1. Ifa says that you are going to be blessed with long life.
There is assurance from Ifa that you are not going to die
young. For this to happen, Ifa advises you to offer ebo with
two roosters and money. You also need to feed Ifa with
Ekulu, bush goat. On this, Ifa says:
Ifa dice que tu vas a ser bendecido con larga vida. Te

asegura de que no morirás joven. Para que esto pase Ifa
advierte hacer Ebo con dos Gallos y dinero. También
necesitas alimentar a Ifa con Ekulu, cabra de arbusto. Por
ello Ifa dice:

2. Ifa says that you are not yet been able to celebrate over
what you had consulted Ifa on. Ifa advises you to feed Esu
Odara with plenty of Akara, bean cake and you will have
cause to celebrate. On this, Ifa says:

que ha consultado Ifa. Ifa advierte alimentar a Esu Odara
con mucho Akara, torta de frijoles y tendras causa para
celebrar. Por ello Ifa dice:

4. Ifa says that you will be blessed with Ire from two angles.
You will find Ire where you are staying and also outside your
place of domicile. Ifa advises you to offer ebo with four
pigeons and money. You also need to feed the footpath or if
possible the main road with kolanut, bitterkola and pigeon.
On this, Ifa says:
Ifa dice que tu seras bendecido con el Ire desde dos

perspectivas. Tu encontraras Ire donde vive actualmente e
incluso fuera del lugar de su domicilio. Ifa te advierte ofrecer

Ebo con cuatro palomas y dinero. Tú también necesitaras

kola amarga y paloma. Por ello Ifa dice:

5. Ifa says that you need to offer ebo in order to get out of the
trouble that you usually find yourself. Ifa says that you need
to offer ebo with four roosters and money. Then after this,
you need Eru spices and tie with rope in form of a chain and
you will wear it while the ebo is being offered. After the ebo
had been completed it will be taken to Esu shrine. You will
remove the Eru chain on your neck and placed it on Esu
together with the ebo. You will then feed Esu with one
rooster and plenty of palm-oil. On this, Ifa says:
Ifá dice que es necesario ofrecer Ebo con el fin de salir de

los problemas que normalmente se encuentra. Ifá dice que
es necesario ofrecer Ebo con cuatro Gallos y dinero. Luego,
después de esto, es necesario especias de Irú y enlazarlas
con una cuerda en forma de una cadena y se lo pondrá en
el cuello, mientras que el Ebo se está ofreciendo. Después

6. Ifa says that you and one of your siblings need to offer ebo
together so that both of you can succeed. Ifa says that both
of you also need to co-operate with one another. Ifa advises
each of you to offer ebo with one matured he-goat and
money. Each of you also need to feed Ifa with one guinea-
fowl. On this Osa Ogbe says:
Ifá dice que usted y uno de sus hermanos necesitan ofrecer

Ebo juntos para que ambos puedan tener éxito. Ifá dice que
ambos también tienen que cooperar el uno con el otro. Ifá
aconseja a cada uno de ustedes para ofrecer ebo con un

que alimentar a Ifá con una gallina de Guinea. Sobre esto

7. Ifa advises you to offer ebo of childbearing. Ifa says that you
have been given birth to children who normally die young.
Ifa says that it is taboo that is responsible for this premature
death. You must never wear red clothes again in your life. It
is the red clothes that you are wearing that are responsible
for the death of your babies. Ifa advises you to offer ebo
with two hens, and money. You also need to feed Ifa with
four rats and four fish. You in question need to add all the
red clothes that you have in your life to the ebo materials.
On this, Ifa says:
Ifa te aconceja ofrecer Ebo para tener hijos. Ifa dice que tu
has venido dando a luz niños que normalmente mueren

jóvenes. Ifa dice que es tabu que es responsable de estas
muertes prematuras.Tu nunca deberas usar ropas rojas en
mi vida. Son las ropas rojas que has usado responsables de
las muertes de tus bebes. Ifa advierte ofrecer Ebo con dos
Gallinas y dinero. Tu también tienes que alimentar Ifa con
cuatro Ratas y cuatro Pescados. Tu tendras que añadir toda
tu ropa roja que tengas en tu vida para los materiales del
Ebo, Por ello Ifa dice:

8. Ifa advises the person for whom this Odu is revealed to go

and feed Esu in order to avoid a situation where all your
fortunes we be diverted to others. Ifa advises you to offer
ebo with a bearded he-goat, two knives, ten cowries and
money. You also need to feed Esu with a rooster. The two
knives will be placed on Esu. On this, Ifa says:
Ifa advierte a la persona que este Odu es revelado en ir y

alimentar a Esu de tal forma de evitar una situacion en la
que toda tu fortuna se desvien a otras personas. Ifa te
advierte ofrecer Ebo con un chivo barbudo, dos Cuchillos
diez Caracoles y dinero. Tu también necesitas alimentar a
Esu con un Gallo, Los dos cuchillos se colocan a Esu. Por
ello Ifa dice:

9. Ifa says that the person for whom this Odu is revealed is a
child of Orisa. Ifa says that all the thing that you are
supposed to do in order to succeed in life where the things
you abandoned. For this reason, you have not succeeded in
life. Ifa says that there is need for you to retrace your
movement and hold firmly unto Orisa and Ifa. Ifa advises
you to offer ebo with three guinea-fowls, three pigeons and

money. You also need to feed Orisa and Ifa as appropriate.
On this, Ifa says:
Ifa dice que la persona para quien este Odu es revelado es

un hijo de Orisa. Ifa dice que todas las cosas que se supone
que harias para tener éxito en la vida son las cosas que tu
has abandonado. Por esta razón tu no has tenido éxito en la
vida. Ifa dice que hay la necesidad de reformular mis
movimientos y mantenerme firme con Orisa e Ifa. Ifa
advierte ofrecer Ebo con tres Guineas, tres Palomas y
dinero. Tu también necesitas alimentar Orisa y Ifa
apropiadamente. Por ello Ifa dice:

10. Ifa says that there is the need for you to offer ebo
against crises and group death. Ifa advises you to offer ebo
with four roosters, four pigeons, four guinea-fowls, plenty of
dead falls, and plenty of switches.
Ifa dice que hay la necesidad para ti de ofrecer Ebo en

contra de la crisis y la muerte del grupo. Ifa advierte ofrecer
Ebo con cuatro Gallos, cuatro Palomas, cuatro Guineas,
muchas ramas caídas de árboles y muchas varas.

plenty of shea butter and money. on this, Ifa says:

donde el fuego sumerja todas mis pertenencias. Ifa te
advierte ofrecer Ebo con 16 Babosas de tierra, 8 Guineas, 8
Palomas, mucha manteca de karité y dinero. Por ello Ifa

12. Ifa advises you to procure plenty of land snails and
offered them as ebo of peace and tranquility. Ifa says that
all the snail will be broken and place on top of Esu. The
reason for this is that there are crises and turmoil inside the
home where this Ifa is cast. Ifa also advises you to use
plenty of money as ebo. On this, ifa says:
Ifa advierte procurar muchas Babosas de tierra y ofrecerlas

como Ebo de paz y tranquilidad. Ifa dice que todas las
babosas serán rotas y puestas en el tope de Esu. La razón
para esto es que hay crisis y agitación en la casa donde

juice paste that was prepare was the food of Aje. On this, Ifa
