Slide 4:
___*Identify the biome where your animal lives
___*describe the biome where your animal lives
___*Compare/contrast this biome with the biome nearby/next to where your animal lives
Slide 5:

Ecosystems
Slide 8
___*Create one food web with at least 10 organisms. (you can use the 4 organisms from the food chain in slide 7)
___*Use proper energy arrows
___*Remember to organize the food web with producers on the bottom, etc
___*Label each organism
___*Label the trophic level of each row
___*Use Destiny/Britannica and cite new each picture
Slide 11

___*Describe one negative effect humans are making on your organism or in the biome.
___*Include citations
Slide 12
___*How do changes in ecosystem affect survival of species populations? Describe possible ecosystem
changes and the resulting effect of the species. Is there any data to support your claim? Find and describe
patterns in data, if possible.
Adaptations of Organisms
Slide 16 Make a CLAIM about why your endangered animal should be saved.
Slide 17 Provide EVIDENCE, using previous slides, to support your claim.
Slide 18 Describe your REASONING, summarizing the information you learned.
Presentation
You will be grouped with students in your class that have endangered animals from the same biome as you.
Together as a group, you will create one presentation to share with the class. Use the summary slides 15-17 to
create an overall biome summary. (You may use other slides for evidence.)
This summary must include:
___*at least one evidence slide from each person in your group that has their animal in it
___*a summary of why animals in this biome should be saved
You will present this information to the class as a biome group. Everyone must talk about their own slide(s) and
contribute to the group presentation.
