Narrative Report in MTB-MLE School-Based Activities with Pictorials

I. Introduction:

Since after the K-12 has implemented, school-based activities was also encouraged to
be conducted in every school year. Jesus Lumain Elementary School was able to conduct
school level “ Indigay sa Kaalam” for the Grades 1-3 pupils with the theme, “Kaugalingong
Pinulungan Tinubdan sa Kaalam”. The said activity was successfully conducted with the help
of the teachers and pupils who participated.

II. Objectives:
1. To discover talent of the pupils in singing.
2. To sharpen memory of the pupils in memorizing poems/stories.
3. To produce multi-talented pupils for the school year.

III. Activities Undertaken:

School level, “Indigay sa Kaalam" conducted series of activities involving the
following:
1. Grade 1 -Balak
-Word Building
2. Grade 2 -Pagsaysay sa Sugilanon
3. Grade 3 -Kanta

IV. Summary of Planned Activities:

The entire activity was started by an opening program and then followed by the
contest proper of the pupils.
With the involvement of the teachers, pupils, parents and the school head, Grace
M. Sorrosa, joined hands for such activities. This was done by winning contest system. It
was conducted in half day affair on September 29, 2016.

VI. Recommendations:
In order to strengthen the involvement of the pupils in school-based contests, it
is respectfully recommended that parents and pupils should never tire in joining this kind of
activity. This is the only way to gain self- confidence and fight stage-fright of the pupils
especially starting in the lower grades.

VII. Conclusion:
This school -based program from the DepEd really help for the pupils to discover
and develop their talents and skills in various activities in MTB-MLE subject.
