IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Candidates should note that contrary to the earlier practice, the University has introduced
On-line Admission System from the academic year 2013-14. The University will not
supply Application Form in physical format, instead, the candidate has to visit BRAOU
portal (www.braouonline.in) to access the Application Form for online registration.
2. The print out of filled-in Application Form along with copies of certificates shall be
submitted in the study centre where he / she wishes to seek admission.
3. The information furnished and certificates submitted as proof of qualification, date of
birth, caste etc., are final and which cannot be changed till the student is graduated from
the university. Finally, this information will also appear in the certificates to be issued by
the University. The women candidates, even after their marriage, shall write
their surname and father's name as shown in their SSC memo or school TC or
affidavit. In no case they shall write either the surname of husband or the
name of husband.
4. Candidates shall make all their payments either through TS / AP Online Centre. No
payment shall be made in cash to any person in any study centre. University is
not responsible for any such transactions.
5. No changes will be EFFECTED in the certificates with regard to caste and date of birth
either during the programme or after completion of the programme.
6. The University has set up a Help Desk at the headquarters to provide guidance to the
students. Therefore, the students are advised to get full details of admission either
through Help Desk or through the concerned Study Centre. The following are the

I. ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Open
University, is the first Open University in India established by an Act of State Legislature in
1982 in Andhra Pradesh representing a unique system of Open Learning. The University
serves the objective of democratisation of higher education and the ideals of continuing education.
Without any restrictions of age, gender and occupation, the University extends educational
opportunities to the people in all walks of life. The University offers the Certificate, Diploma,
Degree and Postgraduate programmes through distance mode. All the programmes are
recognised by UGC and Distance Education Bureau (DEB).
II. INSTITUTIONAL MISSION AND MANDATE
a) To provide educational opportunities to those who could not take advantage of
conventional institutions of higher learning.
b) To provide equality of educational opportunities for higher education of large
segments of the population, including those in employment, women (including
housewives) and adults who wish to upgrade their education or acquire knowledge
in various fields through distance education.
c) To provide flexibility with regard to eligibility for enrolment, age of entry, choice of
courses, methods of learning, conduct of examinations and operation of the
programmes.
d) To complement the programmes of the existing universities in the states of TS &
AP in the field of higher learning, so as to maintain the highest standards on par
with those of the best universities in the country.
e) To promote integration within the state through its policies and programmes.
f) To offer degree courses and non-degree certificate courses for the benefit of the
working population in various fields and for the benefit those who wish to enrich
their lives by studying subjects of culture and aesthetic value.
g) To make provision for research and for advancement and dissemination of
knowledge.
h) To serve as a source of continuing education, consultancy and to provide equal
access to knowledge and higher education.
III. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. MASTER OF LIBRARYAND INFORMATION SCIENCE (M.L.I.Sc) (ENGLISH MEDIUM)

In order to meet the increasing demand for postgraduate studies in Library and Information
Science, the Department of Library and Information Science of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open
University started the M.L.I.Sc. Programme in the academic year 1998-99. The Programme is
open to both in-service as well as fresh candidates, who have qualified with a BLISc degree
and those who have a strong desire to upgrade their professional skills in the field. The Programme
is designed to provide Library and Information Science education with special emphasis on the
techniques of information handling and information management with the use of information
technology.
The aims of the M.L.I.Sc. Programme are:
• To prepare and equip the candidates with professional skills in the management of
libraries.

• To train candidates to assume managerial levels in the libraries and information
centres of various organisations.
The objectives of M.L.I.Sc. Programme:
i) To acquaint the student with the role of information in society;
ii) To give the students an understanding of the application of modern management
ideas and techniques in the management of information systems and centres;
iii) To familiarize the students with various information systems and programmes at
national, regional and international levels;
iv) To impart training in various methods of information handling (i.e.processing,
organization and retrieval);
v) To provide the students the basic theoretical and practical knowledge of the
application of information technology to libraries and information centres;
vi) To acquaint the students with various research methods and their use in library and
information science;
vii) To provide the students an area of specialisation in any of the areas of public,
academic, special or digital libraries.
THE CURRICULUM
The Programme includes six core courses, one Elective Course (to be chosen from
Four electives 7A,7B,7C,7D offered) and Computer Practicals.

Note:
i) The MLISc Programme's academic counselling for an elective coure is offered
through the study centre subject to a minimum prescribed number of eligible
candidates registered for that course at that study centre.

ii) For students of MLISc, the attendance at Winter/Summer schools (intensive contact
programme) and Computer Practicals is compulsory.
DURATION AND MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
The duration of the programme is one academic year. The maximum period for completion
of programme is three academic years. The maximum period allowed to the candidate ceases
with the supplementary examination of the last year of the period i.e at the end of the 3 (three)
academic years. If the University for any reason does not conduct the supplementary examination
of the last year, the maximum period allowed to the student ceases with the annual examination
of that year. The medium of the instruction is English and Examination will be in English only.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission into the M.L.I.Sc. Programme is open to all citizens of India who satisfy the
following conditions:
The minimum qualifications for admission into MLISc shall be:
i) BLISc Degree from any recognised University; and
ii) The minimum qualifying marks shall be 40 percent marks secured in BLISc for all
candidates and 35 percent pass marks for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe
candidates.
The method of selection of candidates for admission shall be based on the order of merit
in the marks secured in BLISc for all categories. Government rules and regulations pertaining to
reservation of seats in Universities shall be followed.
Fifty percent of the seats in each study centre shall be allotted to BLISc degree holders
working in recognised libraries with a minimum one year experience in the regular post.(Format
of Service Certificate is given on Page No: 53).

2. BACHELOR’s DEGREE IN LIBRARYAND INFORMATION SCIENCE (BLISc) (ENGLISH &
TELUGU MEDIUM)

Bachelor of Library & Information Science Programme (B.L.I.Sc.) is offered by the


Department of Library & Information Science. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University in both
English and Telugu Media. Keeping in view the new reforms suggested by the University
Grants Commission, the department of Library & Information Science is introducing the Choice
Based Credit System in the BLISc programme from the academic year 2017-18.
The main objectives of the BLISc programme are to:
1. Prepare and equip the students with the necessary professional skills in the management
of Library & Information Centres.
2. Make the students understand the role of Library & Information Centres in the Society.
3. Familiarize the students with various reference and information sources available in
both print and electronic media.
4. Train the students in the use of different classification schemes, catalogue codes.
5. Acquaint the students with basic skills of Information Technology.
6. Help the students to improve the English Language Skills to make them competitive in
the work place.
7. Train the students to build good public relations with the administration, faculty,
researches and the user community in the library.
BLISc Programm of one year duration is structured in two semesters. In all, the student has to
study 5 types of courses in these two semesters. These are:
 Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC)
 Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC)
 General Elective (GE)

The student will study 3 DSC in the first semester. Apart from these student has to study
4 other courses. The department offers two discipline specific electives in the second semester.
The student has to opt any one course. These courses are planned in such a way that these help
the student to improve the language skills, computer skills, communication skills and public
relations that are required to work effectively in the library.
The student will study 3 DSC in the second semester. Apart from these, the student has
to study 4 other courses. Select one Discipline Specific Elective from the two options provided,
study skill enhancement course and submit a report on the working of libraries by visiting any
library in their vicinity. This semester focuses on improving the knowledge of the student about
the electronic resources, designing library databases and visit to various libraries to acquaint
with the current developments in the profession.
Admission Procedure:
An applicant seeking admission into the Bachelor of Library and Information Science
(BLISc) must be a Graduate of a recognised university. The following is the admission procedure
in order of preference :
a) Graduates Working in a recognised library with a minimum of one year experience
in a regular or substantial post of the rank of a Record Assistant or above;
b) Graduates with Diploma or Certificate in Library Science from Government
recognised institutions;
c) Professional graduates (Law, Pharmacy, Engineering) and
d) Graduates with 50% aggregate marks.

Important Note
i) Academic counselling / contact classes are offered subject to the minimum number
of students admited into the programme at that centre.
ii) For students of BLISc, the attendance at Computer Practicals is compulsory.
iii) Admission is open to all those who qualify the eligibility criteria.

Admission into the one year P.G. Diplomas is open to all citizens of India who hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an Indian University recognised by the UGC.
Admission Rules
1. The maximum number of seats at a Study Centre is limited to 60 per batch.
2. Admission will be made on a Study Centre basis in the category as claimed by the
applicant and according to percentage of marks secured by them in the qualifying
examination.
3. In case any seats under a category are not filled at a study centre, such seats shall
be filled from among the applicants in the qualifying examination (i.e., Graduation).
4. Government rules and regulations pertaining to reservation of seats for SC / ST &
BC categories etc. shall be applicable for making admissions.

5. If the minimum number of eligible candidates (ie., 10) are not registered at a study
centre, for that academic year and such candidates will be given admission at a
nearby stydy centre where 10 or more than 10 candidates are registered for admission.
6. The minimum period for completion of the programme is one year. The student may
however, take upto three years to complete the P.G. Diploma Programme.
A. INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY
The University imparts instruction through a variety of modes. Upon enrolment, the
learner is sent printed course material specially prepared for self-study. Regular broadcast of
radio lessons over All India Radio, Hyderabad - A is another means of disseminating education
to students in remote areas. The University also regularly telecasts video lessons through
Doordarshan Yadagiri and Sapthagiri Channels from Monday to Friday and organises
Teleconferencing sessions on Sunday between 2 and 3 p.m. In addition to the above strategies,
Audio Tapes and Video Tapes covering various aspects of the subject of study are made
available to the students through the Study Centre for replay and discussion. Library facilities
including text books and reference books are also available at the study centres.
Further, at the Study Centre, the students receive assistance from experienced Counsellors
to resolve their problems in the study of the subject. The head of each Study Centre designated
as Joint Director/ Deputy Director/ Assistant Director or Co-ordinator serves as a link between
the University, the counsellors and the students.
Every student admitted to a programme is attached to a Study Centre according to his/
her convenience. While the student’s choice will be given weightage, the University reserves
the right of allotment to any other centre on administrative or other reasons.
The student is given assignments to help him/her to monitor his/her progress through the
programme. There are set dates for the completion of assignments. Assignments are compulsory
and carry 30% weightage in each course.
B. DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME
The duration of all the Programmes is one academic year. The maximum period for
completion of the programme is three academic years.The maximum period allowed to the
candidate ceases with the supplementary examination of the last year of the period i.e. at the
end of the 3rd academic year. If the University for any reason does not conduct the supplementary
examination of the last year, the maximum period allowed to the student ceases with the annual
examination of that year.
C. STUDY CENTRES
The Study Centre is the contact point at the local level. Select the Study Centre that is
convenient to you and write clearly, in order of preference the name of the Study Centre, where
you wish to register for Counselling and other facilities. The Study Centre makes available to
you to the Audio Visual equipment, Library and other facilities on all working days. All Mondays
and the Tuesdays following Second Saturday of the month are weekly holidays for Study Centres
in addition to normal public holidays declared by the Government.

E. EVALUATION
At the end of the academic year, the student has to take a written examination of three
hours duration for each course paper. Each paper will carry 100 marks which consist of 70
marks for the year-end examinations and 30 marks for assignments. The pass marks for each
paper are 40%. Candidate has to secure a minimum of 12 marks out of 30 in assignments (6
marks minimum in each assignment out of 15) and a maximum of 28 marks out of 70 in the
year-end examination to pass the course. The students have to download the assignments
of all these programmes from the University website www.braou.ac.in, braouonline.in
write and submit them at the Study Centre.
However, for BLISc Programme, pass marks for each of the discipline specific courses
is for 100 marks, for the year-end examinations. Hence there are no assignments.

The objectives of the P.G. Diploma in Marketing Management Programme are :
1. To introduce the concepts in the areas of Management and Marketing;
2. To impart the knowledge of quantitative techniques for taking appropriate
marketing decisions;
3. To familiarise the students with the changing marketing environment and to design
suitable marketing strategies;
4. To impart the knowledge related to consumer behaviour and to equip the students

The submission of dissertation is compulsory. The learner has to select the topic of
dissertation three months before the end of the course. The topic must be selected by the
learner from list of topics provided by the Department. The learner has to undergo Internship
in a Hotel/Resort/Monument/Tour Operations/Guide Services and Tourism etc. to write the
dissertation.
Admission Rules
1. The maximum number of seats at a study centre is limited to 30 per batch
2. Admission will be made on a study centre basis in the category as claimed by the applicant
and according to percentage of marks secured by them in the qualifying examination.
3. In case any seats under a category are not filled at a study centre, such seats shall be
filled from among the applicants in the qualifying examination (i.e. Graduation)
4. Government rules and regulations pertaining to reservation of seats for SC/ST & BC
categories etc shall be applicable for making admissions.
5. If the minimum number of eligible candidates are not registered (ie., 10) at a study centre,
for that academic year and the such candidates will be given admission at a nearby study
centre where 10 or more than 10 candidates are registered for admission.
6. The minimum period for completion of the programme is one year. The student may

VI. CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND
EDUCATION
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
The Department of Education has been started by the University in November 2004.
The Department is offering B.Ed. (Telugu Medium), B.Ed. (Special Education) and Certificate
Programme in Literacy and Community Development Programmes. The Certificate Progamme
in Early Childhood Care and Education programme was launched in the Academic Year 2011-
12.
The Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Care and Education (CECE) of BRAOU
aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by practising teachers for
effective teaching-learning process at the pre-primary stage. It enables trainees to select and
organise learning experiences according to the requirement of learners. In addition, it provides
knowledge and develops in them an understanding of areas of child development, pre-school
management etc.

A. Programme Objectives
The programme aims to enable teacher trainees to achieve the following objectives:
a) To strengthen the professional competencies of pre-school teachers.
b) To develop an understanding of the various methods and approaches of organising
learning experiences for pre-primary school children.
c) To understand the nature of the learning process and develop skills required in
selecting and organising learning experiences.
d) To develop skills involved in dealing with the academic and personal problems of
children.
e) To develop skills in selection, development and usage of activities and to develop an
understanding of the various techniques of management in the classroom.

B. Duration
The minimum duration of the programme is one year. However, the maximum period
allowed for completion of the programme will be three years.

C. Medium of Instruction : English


D. Eligibility
i) The candidate should be 18 years of age as on 1-7-2017.
ii) The candidate should have passed Intermediate / Equivalent (10+2) or a higher
examination from a recognised institute / university.

E. Admission
The candidates are required to fill in the Online Application Form through the University
portal www.braouonline.in.

F. Study Centres
All the Regional Coordination Centres of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University will be the
Study Centres.
If the minimum number of eligible candidates (ie., 10) have not registered at a specific
Study Centre, such candidates will be given admission in a nearby Study Centre or at a study
centre where 10 or more than 10 candidates have registered for admission. University reserves
the right in this regard.
The Study Centre is the contact point at the local level. Select the Study Centre that is
convenient to you and write clearly the name of the study centre where you wish to register for
academic counselling and other facilities. The study centres provide audio-visual equipment,
library and other facilities on all working days. All Mondays and the Tuesdays following second
Saturday of the month, are weekly holidays for study centres.
Note:Change of Study Centre is not permissible as admissions are made online.

G. Programme Fee
The programme fee is Rs. 5,000/-.

H. Programme Structure
The programme is essentially a judicious mix of theory and practical courses to develop
knowledge, skills and aptitude of pre-school teachers. Illustrations and cases and relevant
situations and activities comprise the core of each course. These are suitably supported by
theoretical aspects to the extent needed. Considering the job requirement of pre-school teachers
and the broad programme objectives, the following four courses are identified:
CECE 1 : Principles of Early Childhood Care and Education
CECE 2 : Significance of Early Childhood Care and Education
CECE 3 : Planning and Implementation of Early Childhood Care and Education
Programme
CECE 4 : Administration and Management of Pre-school and Day-Care Centres
In addition to the set of theory courses, emphasis is laid on skill development. The practical
work is based on the subject-content presented in various theory courses. The practical
experiences are suitably categorised and organised under the School-based and Workshop-
based Practicals and Practice Teaching.

I. Instructional System
The Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education Programme delivery system includes
the multi-media approach, i.e., self-instructional print material, audio / video components,
teleconferencing, assignments, counselling sessions and practical work in a pre-school and
workshops.

J. Academic Counselling and Practical Sessions


Generally the academic counselling sessions will be held at the study centres during
holidays. Academic counselling sessions for 16 days duration, in two or three spells, with
intensive face-to-face interaction to develop skills and competencies will be organised at the
study centre. The study centre coordinators will also provide the counselling schedule. The
36 counselling sessions will include clarifications required in the print material and audio / video
programmes through active interaction with students.
Practicals will be held in the pre-schools and teacher training colleges / institutions identified.
As mentioned earlier, the practical courses consist of school-based and workshop-based practicals
and practice teaching. These activities will be conducted in the pre-schools. The student
teachers will have to do practical work and various activities required for the development of
teaching skills and competencies in the pre-school under the guidance of the supervisor and
H.M. after taking due permission from the pre-school concerned. That is, a student has to do
internship for 24 days in the year.

K. Evaluation
The system of evaluation, both for theory and practical work, is as follows:
For theory courses, evaluation comprises the following aspects:
a) Self-evaluation exercises within each unit of study.
b) The term-end examination has a weightage of 50 marks for each course.
For practical courses, evaluation comprises the following aspects:
a) Continuous evaluation of school-based activities and practice teaching.
b) Evaluation of performance in practical workshops.
c) Evaluation of practice teaching.
d) The practical examination has a weightage of 50 marks.

The student will have to obtain at least 40% marks in each of the theory courses, and
50% of marks in practicals. However, the overall average should be at least 50% for the

IX. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. CHANGE / TRANSFER OF THE STUDY CENTRE
The following is the procedure for change/transfer of study centre:
a) The change of study centre is done only once during the minimum duration
of any programme.
b) For effecting any transfer of student from one study centre to another study centre,
the student shall submit his / her application in the prescribed form in the study
centre where he / she is admitted / studying with the documentary evidence/proof
for such transfer.
c) The head of the Study Centre shall forward the application with a specific
recommendation duly satisfying himself of the reason(s) after careful verification
of documentary evidence/ proof submitted for transfer.

d) The reasons such as change of place on account of marriage, employee on transfer,
etc., may be considered. However, no transfer of study centre shall be recommended
without any valid reason and without documentary evidence.
e) No transfer of study centre shall be entertained within the twin cities of Hyderabad/
Secunderabad and also the adjacent or closeby study centres.
f) Students who seek re-admission or re-enrollment to the Programme are not eligible
for transfer of study centre after the re- admission is granted.
2. RE-ADMISSION PROVISION
Student who couldn't complete the programme within the maximum duration can
take readmission as per the norms of the university in vogue at that time. Study
centre will not be changed for students seeking re-admission
X. HOW TO FILL THE ONLINE ADMISSION REGISTRATION FORM - 2018-19
Enter into the portal of BRAOU ie., www.braouonline.in
Click on PG I Year / PG Diploma / Certificate Programmes Online Admission Registration
Form 2018 - 19. As you click on it, all MLISc, BLISc, PGDMM, PGDBF, PGDES, PGDWMMT,
PGDHR, PGDWS, PGDCHT, CNGOM, CECE, CPLCD & CPFN will appear on the monitor.
Click on the Programme to which you wish to register. For example, if you wish to study
MLISc, Click on MLISc Registration. Like wise you can click on the Programme of study ie.,
BLISc, PGDMM, PGDBF, PGDES, PGDWMMT, PGDHR, PGDWS, PGDCHT, CNGOM,
CECE, CPLCD & CPFN which you wish to study. Once you select or click on a Programme,
the window opens (the blank Registration Form appears on the monitor) for that Programme.
Start filling the Application Online by typing in some of the columns and selecting correct option
in others. The stepwise process of filling application is as follows:
Column 1: Type your name as per SSC Certificate. If you have not studied SSC, then type
your name as shown in the Bachelor's Degree Certificate.
Type your Father's name as per SSC or if not studied SSC, type it as recorded in
Bachelor's Degree Certificate. Similarly, type your Mother's name.
Enter your Date of Birth as per SSC Certificate or other Certificate (Date of Birth
once entered will not be changed.)
Similarly, click on the Gender, Marital Status to which you belong and fill up your
Aadhar Number in the column.
Column 2: Type your Address and enter your Mobile No. filling E-mail ID is optional.
Column 3: Click on Programme of Study and select the Programme which you intend to study
keeping in view the eligibility criteria.
Column 4: Medium is automatically displayed on the monitor. For BLISc Programme, the
student has to select Medium.
Column 5: As you click on this column, the list of study centres offering the chosen programme
will appear on the screen. BLISc and MLISc students should select only one study
centre out of the list of Study Centres. The Students who wish to register for
PGDMM, PGDBF, PGDES, PGDWS, PGDHR, PGDWMMT, PGDCHT, CNGOM,
CECE, CPLCD & CPFN have to select two study centres in the order of prefer-
ence as 1 and 2 from the list of Study Centres.

Column 9: Click on Occupation and select the option to which you are associated with viz.,
House Wife, Agricultural Labourer, Labourer, Skilled Worker, Teacher, Businessman,
Ministerial Service, Nurse, Defence and others.
Column 10: Enter Qualifying Degree or Programme with marks obtained against total maximum
marks. On clicking this Column, the qualification(s) relevant to pursue the programme
of study will display on the monitor. Select the qualification which you possess.
Select either 'Regular Mode' or Distance Mode' through which you obtained
Bachelor's Degree. In the same column, you find sub-columns for State of Study,
University Studied and Marks secured against the total marks. If you click on State
of Study, you get a list of States on the monitor. Select the State in which you
studied your Qualifying Degree or Programme. Similarly, click on the 'University
Studied'. As you click it, you get a list of Universities. Select the University where
you have studied your Bachelor's Degree. Then type the marks secured out of the
maximum marks.
Note : Professional Programmes
i) To register for MLISc, one must have passed BLISc with 40% marks. (35% for SC
/ ST Candidates). Students who wish to register for MLISc, should note that
they have to select one of the electives MLIS - 07 i.e., 7A / 7B / 7C / 7D.
ii) To register for BLISc, one must be a graduate, working in a recognized Library,
with a minimum one year experience in a regular / substantial post of the rank of a
Record Assistant or above. Further, Graduates with Diploma or Certificate in Library
Science, Professional Graduates (Law, Pharmacy & Engineering) and Graduates
with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible to study BLISc. BLISc students have
to choose one DSE (2A or 2B) in the 2nd semester.
iii) P.G. Diploma Programme in Business Finance (PGDBF) (English Medium) /
P.G.Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM) (English Medium) / P.G.
Diploma in Environmental Studies (PGDES) (English Medium) / P.G.Diploma in
Women’s Studies (PGDWS) (English Medium) / P.G. Diploma in Human Rights
(PGDHR) (Telugu Medium) and P.G Diploma in Culture & Heritage Toursim
(PGDCHT) (English Medium).
For admission into the above one year P.G. Diplomas is open to all citizens of India
who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an Indian University
recognised by the UGC.
 The students who wish to register for PGDMM Programme, have to choose
any three of the following four courses i.e., Course 4 to Course 7.

and have atleast three years experience in writing for media and should be sponsored
by the Press Academy of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh .
iv) For admission into Certificate Programme in NGOs Management (CNGOM) is
open to the students who passed Intermediate or SSC with three years experience
in any private organisation. Intermediate passed students are eligible to take admission
into Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Care and Education (CECE). SSC
passed students are eligible to take admission into Certificate Programme in Literacy
and Community Development (CPLCD). Those who attained 18 years of age with
or without any formal academic qualification can take admission into Certificate
Programme in Food & Nutrition (CPFN).
Column 11: Select either 'YES' or 'NO' under 'Defferently Abled' head. If you click 'YES' then
you will find category of 'Physically Challenged', 'Visually Challenged' and 'Hearing
Impaired'. Select appropriate category to which you belong to.
Column 12: Under this head, select the Area in which you are residing ie., Urban, Rural and
Tribal.
Column 13: In respect of Photo and Signature, put your passport size colour photograph on a
white paper and sign below the photo and scan it. Both of them shall be uploaded to
the online Application.
Column 14: At this stage, you need to ensure that all the entries made in the above application
are true to the best of your knowledge. Only after ensuring yourself that all the
entries made are correct, then only, click on 'Submit' and take print out of Application
Form in two sets. The print out of this Application Form comes out with an
Application Number; put your signature in the box provided on the left hand side,
below the declaration. Paste a colour photograph in the box provided in Application
Form.
 Now, go to the study centre along with necessary certificates in original (i.e., Date of
Birth, Caste Certificate, Degree Certificate, Marks memos, relevant certificates in the
case of Ex-service men / Physically challenged / Visually Challenged / Hearing Impaired
and all who come under reservation categories etc.) and a set of attested copies thereof.
Then submit the printed Application Form along with one set of attested copies of
Certificates at study centre. After the verification of certificates with originals by the
study centre staff, the candidate is directed to make the Fee payment. The candidate will
also receive an SMS from University. Now, the candidate has to pay the prescribed Fee
as printed in Application Form either at any TS / AP Online Centre. As you pay, a receipt
will be generated with Admission Number, Name, Fee amount etc., confirming your
admission.
 It is instructed to the candidate has to download the identity card from the university
website.
