CITY RESOLUTION NO. 2015-018

A RESOLUTION ACCREDITING KAUSWAGAN “DEFERENT ABLE”
ASSOCIATION AS A LEGITIMATE ASSOCIATION (KDAA) IN THE
CITY

WHEREAS, presented for consideration to the Sangguniang Panlungsod are the

documents of the Kauswagan “Deferent Able” Association (KDAA), this City;

WHEREAS, the submission of documents is in response to the

“Call for accreditation” issued per Memorandum Circular No. 2010-73 dated
August 04, 2010 of the Department of Interior and Local Government ( DILG), on
Accreditation of People’s Organizations/ Non-Government Organizations, and Similar
Aggrupations and Selection of Representatives to the Local Special Bodies;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod, thru the Committee on Cooperatives

and Community Organizations conducted a meeting and had evaluated the documents
submitted by the said association and the same is found to have satisfactorily
complied with the requirements for accreditation pursuant to the Local
Government Code of 1991 and as promulgated in the DILG Memorandum
Circular No. 2010-73 dated August 04, 2010;

WHEREAS, the Committee on its further evaluation also gathered that the
aforementioned association has no intention in actively participating in the selection of
representatives to the Local Development Councils for the main purpose of the
accreditation is to be able the association to actively and lawfully participate in the
implementation of the city’s plans and programs.

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2010-73 likewise mandates that the
Sangguniang Panlungsod may, ipso facto accredit People’s Organizations/Non-
Government Organizations and businesses or professional groups that comply with all
the administrative requirements and satisfy the criteria enumerated in the said
Memorandum Circular.

NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED, by the 3rd Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Cabadbaran, in its 80th Regular Session, to accredit the Kauswagan “Deferent Able”
Association (KDAA) as a legitimate association in the City, this province.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that this accreditation shall not be used as attachment

of requirement to any loan pursued by the association as well as in obtaining funding
(grants or the like) from any financial institution whether local or foreign.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to furnish a copy of this Resolution to the

Kauswagan “Deferent Able” Association (KDAA) through Mr. Simplicio N. Baron,
President, for information and guidance.
