A. Individualism vs. Collectivism: I side moderately towards collectivism because I
believe that the government should work to protect and help its citizens.
B. Progressive vs. Traditional: I side strongly towards progressive because I think that
our country should value personal freedom, social awareness, and diversity.
C. Tender vs. Tough: I side extremely towards tender because I believe that we should
show compassion and empathy in policies about small time criminals.
D. Democracy vs. Meritocracy: I side with democracy because I think that everyone
should have a say in our country’s decisions.
E. Big Government vs. Small Government: I side towards big government meaning I
believe government should address issues like social inequality and provide assistance for its
citizens.
What does my political profile say about me? Which issues are most important to me and
why? Did anything about my results surprise me?
My political profile says a lot about me. It says that I am a feminist that wants better
support for women, including legalized abortion and better access to birth control. It shows that I
am someone that thinks our laws should be compassionate and empathetic, and should work
towards creating a more inclusive country. It also shows how my background and personal life
affects my political views, with my strong support for parties that are in strongly in favor of
increasing the government to protect women, the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants, and people
with disabilities.
My political profile confirmed a lot of things about me, but there was also a few things
that surprised me. I had never heard of the Women’s Equality party and that was my top party in
my quiz results, and after reading more about the party I found that I agree with everything the
party is in support of. I was also really surprised that the quiz said I was 16% republican. I
