Daulat ram College

Daulat Ram College, a Star college, is one of the oldest and largest women
colleges of the city imparting holistic and quality education in the field of
Science, Humanities and Commerce. The college is located in the north campus
of University of Delhi.

The intensely cherished dream of the founder Shri Daulat Ram Gupta was finally
given expression in 1990 by the then Chairperson late Shri Mahendra Nath
Gupta (his son) who called upon Shri Rajiv Gandhi to lay the foundation stone of
what stands today as an imposing multi -purpose auditorium in the frontage of
the college. Our commitment is to provide a safe, positive, intellectual learning
environment that will empower students to become creative problem solvers,
thinkers and inspired learners.

Spread the joy of Dancing

Annhad, the Indian Dance Society of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi was
established in 2014 and has quickly become a renowned society in the Delhi University
folk dance circuit. Being one of the top societies in the entire Delhi University, Annhad
has constantly yearned to promote Indian Culture through the art of dance.

Raas, the dance festival is hosted by Annhad every year. First organised two
years ago, the festival has attracted participants from all over the state. So far
Raas has turned out to be a great success, and for our third edition in 2017 we
expect your warm support for a bigger and better Raas.

Previous editions of Raas have had a footfall of over one thousand attendees and the numbers are only
going to be higher this year. We expect to generate funds up to Rs 80,000 for efficient organisation.
More than 20 colleges across Delhi and beyond are expected to be a part of Raas 2017.

The event will be organised on 3rd & 4th March.

ULhaas



Ulhaas is the Group Folk Dance competition hosted by Annhad.

One of the biggest and most anticipated event during Manjari, Ulhaas attracts
the fiercest competition in the Delhi University folk dance circuit. Being a one of
a kind event, Ulhaas eccentrically promotes the culture and essence of Indian
folklore. With massive participation from colleges across Delhi NCR, the event
has had several renowned and prestigious judges gracing the event.

Prizes worth Rs 18,000 were awarded in the previous year.

Yogya
Yogya is the Solo Classical Dance competition.

Classical dancers from across the nation showcase the art of dance and
expressions in this event. Strictly Indian traditional dance pieces are performed,
which is delight for the audience to watch. Renowned classical GURUS like Guru
Jayalakshmi Eshwar, Nitisha Mondol etc. had been invited to embrace the event
with their presence.

Prices worth Rs 12,000 were awarded in the previous year.

Darpan
Darpan is an amalgamation of classical and folk dance styles. Bringing out the
choreography skills in the grooming talent this is an event inspired from street
dance and hence, stands apart from all the events hosted. With Darpan, we aim
to celebrate and showcase traditional dance forms with a twist.

This event has got a lot of publicity since its introduction last year.

Prizes worth 9,000 INR were awarded last year.

We have a database of over 3000 college students from all around the country

Launch of Marketing Campaign


The campaign will last for the remaining period till the start of the fest, and is
assured to create hype about sponsors in DU and all national colleges
associated with Raas’17.

Social Media Campaign


A social media campaign would be conducted for sponsors by our marketing
team for a period of 1 month on Facebook and Instagram.

Photo Spots

There will be designated photo-spots all across college where certain
participants will be required to get their photos clicked and submit it at the
registration desk. These photo-spots will incorporate sponsors’ logos and hence
will provide to be an excellent method of publicity as these will be uploaded
onto various social networking sites.

Banner Presence during RAAS


Banners will be placed at various strategic locations of the College ensuring
visibility to a footfall of 3000.

Sponsors’ T-shirts

Sponsors can send T-shirts and goodies with their logo which can be distributed
to participants and winners of the events. This will help in visual publicity

Stalls

Sponsors can put up a stall during the fest in the prime locations inside the
college. The required facilities would be provided to the sponsors.
