GOALS & OBJECTIVES: Anchored on the vision-mission of St. Peter’s College, the Senior High School Unit aims to:
1. Develop students with the 21st century learning skills for global competitiveness;
2. Enrich and deepen each students’ relationship to God and to the whole of creation;
3. Instill in them the sense of responsibility and commitment towards political, social,

Description: This course offers experencial learning for learners to adopt an active life for fitness and life long health. The knowledge, skills,
and understanding which include physical and health literacy competencies support them in accessing, synthesizing and evaluation
information; making informed decisions; enhancing and advocating their own as well as other fitness and health.

A non-government organization will be organizing a one-to-two-hour event that will address


a certain community health/fitness issue or concern. As one of the staff members of the
organization, you are tasked to interview the barangay captain and officials for the
information regarding the existing problems and measures done over the past years or
months.
Remember that you have to ask permission first from the barangay captain to be
interviewed. Convinced him or her that his or her answes will greatly help in addressing the
community problem. The challenge involves dealing with barangay officials who may or may
not attend to your request.

Your questions hould focus on the following:

-Background information of the health/fitness issue


-Goal for the fitness program and how it will benefit the community
-Expectations for the fitness event
-Suggestions from the barangay captain regarding other needs for the success of the
event
