MECHANICS and CRITERIA for

POSTER MAKING CONTEST
Grade VI

This poster making contest is part of the celebration of National Reading Month 2018;

A. Mechanics
1. The poster making contest is open to all Grade VI pupils
2. The theme of the contest shall be; “Pagbasa; Susi sa Magandang
Kinabukasan”.
3. Posters must be all original and hand drawn using any kind of medium.
4. Poster size should be 1/8 illustration board in a portrait format.
5. Contestant shall be given 1 hour to finish the poster.
6. Three winners shall be chosen as Third Place, Second Place and First
Place.
7. Winners will be identified at the end of the activity and will be awarded in
the culminating program.
8. Criteria for Judging;

BOOKMARK MAKING CONTEST
Grade V

This bookmark making contest is part of the celebration of National Reading Month
2018;

A. Mechanics
1. The bookmarkr making contest is open to all Grade V pupils.
2. The theme of the contest shall be; “Pagbasa; Susi sa Magandang
Kinabukasan”.
3. Bookmarks must be all original and hand made using any kind of medium.
4. Bookmark size should be 216MM x 85 MM (1/4 of landscape long bond
paper) in a portrait format. Board paper shall be utilized.
5. Contestant shall be given 1 hour to finish the bookmark.
6. Three winners shall be chosen as Third Place, Second Place and First
Place.
7. Winners will be identified at the end of the activity and will be awarded in
the culminating program.

This slogan making contest is part of the celebration of National Reading Month
2018;

A. Mechanics
1. The slogan making contest is open to all Grade IV pupils.
2. The theme of the contest shall be; “Pagbasa; Susi sa Magandang
Kinabukasan”.
3. Slogan must be all original and compose of not more than 20 words.
4. Slogan size should be 1/8 illustration board in a landscape format.
5. Contestant shall be given 1 hour to finish the bookmark.
6. Three winners shall be chosen as Third Place, Second Place and First
Place.
7. Winners will be identified at the end of the activity and will be awarded in
the culminating program.
