IRON-T CHOOTEN
Our IRON-T CHOOTEN rod range comprises a series of top end sporting rods built on high performance Japanese Toray blanks (high density IM30 & IM40
carbons with an exceptionally low resin count). The taper of each blank has been designed to maximise precision and sensitivity. The rods are very tactile
and their resonance enhanced by our unique Fuji reel seat featuring carbon inserts that amplify vibrations from the blank. You will be able to read every
knock or tap on the rod be it from the bottom, from hitting snags or chasing fish. The shape of each handle has been customised to suit different techniques
so optimising precision and comfort. Fitted with Fuji K rings or micro guides, depending on the model. The first thing to strike you about the rods is how light

GUNKI
and well balanced they are. We have chosen fast or ultra-fast actions on all of the blanks for superior casting performance and superior reactivity. The butt
sections have been reinforced with a carbon braid to add a reserve of power to help handle big fish. The rods look great and have a touch of GUNKI class that
is the hallmark of our IRON-T series!

These POWER FEELING blanks have extra-sensitive tips that pick up the slightest bite or movement on your lure. Fitted with Fuji K rings and micro-guides, the rods are extremely
responsive – ideal for all tactile styles of fishing. The fast action lends itself to a wide range of tactics and with rods of different lengths and power in the range you can cover all
finesse style situations - drop shot, micro jig, light jig head, weightless… Also great for linear fishing with plugs or soft baits. A lot of thought has gone into the handle design.
Made entirely from cork with a uniquely comfortable ergonomic profile, these handles improve casting and lure control with the added bonus that cork is a good insulating
material so your hands stay warmer when fishing in cold winter weather!

Simply incredible purpose made vertical rods! The balance of low weight, responsiveness, and raw power is technically perfect! The slim blanks are well balanced for precise
lure control and fitted with our tactile and comfortable Full Grip cork handle. The action of the blanks has some softness in the tip to absorb savage takes and reduce hook pulls
yet have enough steel through the rod to detect bites and strike cleanly. Power builds up progressively along the blank and cushions violent headshakes that can snap lighter
hooklengths. There is enough power in the butt of each rod to stop even the biggest of fish. The 183MH model sis designed for classic river and lake situations whereas the 186H
is better suited to deep lakes or heavy fishing on bigger rivers targeting specifically pike.

Our UMI rods are designed for jig fishing. Comes in two different versions with distinct actions and power. The UMI 190 XXH is built on a progressive blank with the right blend
of softness and responsiveness to perfectly work jigs. Under pressure the blank progressively powers up giving you plenty of reserve power to control hard fighting fish. The
rod is designed to maximise angler comfort which you will appreciate if you are jigging intensively for several hours at a time. The blank is versatile and lends itself to jigs of
all sizes. The UMI 190 XH+ has a faster action and is designed specifically for smaller jigs. The tip in particular is very responsive which is vital for working lighter lures. The rod
is particularly light and comfortable to hold and fish with. The butt section has an additional wrap of braided carbon which gives plenty of power to handle big fish with ease.
