Signature Series Connection Threaded Connection

Featuring a heavier thread design, this connection
simply enhanced the already trusted AMS threaded
connection.
Features:
•H  eavier thread design.
• Connection and disassembly with 1 1/2 turns.
• Fast connection speed without risk of galling.
Similar in form to a nuts and bolts system, the AMS
threaded connection is reliable and simple to use.
Available in two sizes: 1) a 5/8" thread for the major-
ity of soil auger diameters, and 2) a 3/4" thread for soil
augers with diameters of 6" and 7".

Quick Connect Connection

AMS Quick Connect offers a fast connect and discon-
nect attachment for all augers. The unique button and
hex coupling connectors allow augers, cross handles
and extensions to connect and disconnect faster than
the AMS threaded connections.
The Quick Connect system is not designed to work
with slide hammers, which are necessary for soil core
sampler applications.

Features:
•F  ast, positive push–to–lock and easy disconnect.
• Finger ring for AMS Quick Connect button
­depression included.
• Allows rotation in either direction.
• Available in cast carbon steel and stainless steel (SST).
Note: Fittings will always be carbon steel.
• Not designed for use with the AMS slide hammer.
