(This document is meant for the exclusive purpose of bidding against this Bidding Document /Specification
and shall not be transferred, reproduced or otherwise used for purposes other than that for which it is
specifically issued).
SECTION - I
1 NTPC invites online e-bids from invited bidders for aforesaid Package. You have been selected as
one of the eligible bidders for this package/ work.
4 Detailed specification, scope of work and terms & conditions are given in the bidding documents,
which are available for examination and sale at the address given below and as per the following
schedule:
6. Bid Security/ EMD in the form of DD/BC/BG) if applicable, shall be submitted in a sealed envelope
separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date & time at the address given below.
Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and
shall not be opened.
In case Bid Security is submitted by way of Bank Guarantee, the same should be valid for period of
225 days from the date of Opening of Techno-commercial offer.
In case Bid Security is submitted by way of Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque/ Pay Order, the same
should be payable at HARIPAD (DT. ALLEPPEY, KERALA).
While issuing the physical BGs, the Bidder’s Bank shall also send electronic message through
secure SFMS (in case of BGs issued from within India) or SWIFT (in case of BGs issued from
outside India) to Employer’s Beneficiary Bank whose details are provided herein below:
Note: Bidders, who have valid MSE/ NSIC certificate, are not required to submit Tender Fee and
EMD; such bidders shall submit/ upload SME/ NSIC certificate online with digitally signed.
8. Bid of the Bidders who have not submitted requisite amount of EMD (in form of DD/BC/BG, if
applicable) separately or valid MSE/NSIC certificate.
9. NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the IFB for subject Package
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/ intending bidder shall have
any claim arising out of such action.
10. Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be
qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend the bid opening.
11. Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
Parties banned by any NTPC Projects, Corporate Centre /Southern Region HQ/ Rajiv Gandhi CCPP
are not eligible to participate.
