Building block of the world that leads to the

greatest invention of the world, an element that
creates and unites the universe, a key to a harmo-
nious relationship and united nation – that is
language.

Every year we Filipinos celebrate and recall

things that unite everyone of us – our language,
Filipino. Through Manuel L. Quezon, Father of
Filipino language who took the road and led us
in embracing the Filipino language, making us
one, unified and harmonious.

Agelessly continuing and patronizing our language, on

the month of August, we have again acclaimed and in-
spired the spirit and soul of every Filipino. through
music, dance, poem and other works of art, we reflect
ourselves and reminisce the genesis of every Filipi-
no; the beginning of every one of us. It recalls and
reminds everyone of us how important our language is.

Language is the door that opens us to rest of the

world. Without it, we are like a puzzle missing its
most important piece, a building without a base,
and an ocean without water – simply incomplete.
Beyond all of the things that exist on this di-
mension, nothing can ever be on top of language
which is the origin and bridge of everyone.

Language is a missing piece of all for without it,

everything would be senseless and meaningless.
