OR

5-years post PhD teaching/ research experience in an HEC

recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization.

Professor Ph.D. degree in relevant field, recognized
by HEC in consultation with PEC.
15- Years teaching/ research experience in a recognized 15 research publications
Institution/College/ University or 15-years professional experience with at least 5 publications
in the relevant field in a National or International organization out of in last five years in
which 5-years must be teaching experience. HEC/PEC recognized
journals
OR

10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC

recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization.

Note:-
The eligibility criteria for the posts of Associate Professor (FPS-IV) and Professor (FPS-V) under IST Faculty Pay Scales (FPS) / “IST
Contract” may be relaxed in respect of the requirement of the minimum number of research publications for these posts in the case of
academically and professionally exceptional candidates only, who are otherwise eligible in respect of mandatory requirement of academic
qualification and professional experience and have proven record in Research and Development (R&D) organization of repute. However, no
relaxation will be given in respect of the required academic qualification and professional experience for these posts.
