Direct all marketing communications, branding activities, social media, public relations, and media outreach for Purdue
University Libraries and School of Information Studies to advance the organization's strategic plan. Responsible for
development, implementation of division's marketing plan and six-figure budget. Develop content and audience
conversion strategies for fundraising campaigns (in conjunction with development director). Executive editor of annual
report distributed (print) to other leading peer research libraries in North America. Supervise marketing, graphic
design, and event planning staff. Experienced user of email marketing software platforms.
• Achievements: Through earned media and digital advertising/outbound marketing, achieved national media coverage of
opening of $80M innovative new library/classroom building at Purdue University
• Initiatives: Produced (developed, wrote, edited) Libraries' inaugural annual report publication. Launched monthly
e-newsletter covering Purdue Libraries' faculty, staff, and resources to advance unit branding for key target audience/
stakeholder segments; produce copy, edit graphics, manage subscriptions for e-newsletter. More than doubled Facebook
and Twitter followers in two years via paid and organic content and campaigns (since starting the position in January
2017). Launched the Purdue Libraries and School of Information Studies' Instagram account.
• Leadership and Service: Serve on Libraries' operations and planning committee, Dean's Advisory Council, and chair
marketing committee for Purdue Libraries. Served on Purdue Sesquicentennial Planning committee.
