TRAIN 9 - TEST BENCH SETUP & TESTING PROCEDURE

Module size 8E/2

1 Refer to control schematic and connect the control wire from incomer terminal ( 1 & 2 / 3 & 4 ),
located at the bottom compartment to the installed condaptor terminal accordingly
2 Injection link which is located at outgoing condaptor already provided and terminated
3 Connect primary injection cable to condaptor (outgoing)
4 Fully insert 8E/2 module to the test bench
5 Turn the rotary switch handle to "TEST" position and " ON " the control supply. Contactor will energize
6 Turn the rotary switch handle to " OFF " then to " ON " position. Contactor will energize
7 At " ON Position " the contactor will energize
8 Perform the Primary Injection Test as per schematic diagram

Module size 8E & above (Refer Video)

1 Remove the compartment bottom plate by pulling the plate out from the test bench
2 Remove two (2) screws on the right & left side of the test bench
3 Remove four (4) screws on the 8E/2 condaptor and remove condaptor from the test bench
4 Install the CCU according to the size & rating of the test module
5 Install the side plate c/w terminal block on the right side and connect it with small white terminal plug
6 Refer to control schematic and connect the control wire from incomer terminal ( 1 & 2 / 3 & 4 ),
located at the bottom compartment to the terminal block provided on the side plate
7 Connect primary injection cable ( one to CCU and one to the busbar connection located at the back )
8 Fully Insert 8E module to the test bench
9 Turn the rotary switch handle to " TEST" position and " ON " the control supply. Contactor will energize
10 Turn the rotary switch handle from " TEST" to "OFF" then to "ON" position. Contoctor will energize
11 Perform the Primary Injection Test as per schematic diagram
