II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In the community of barangay 850, Sampaloc, Manila where there is a lack of initiative
of the citizens in taking part in caring for the environment, a clean-up drive will be
conducted that would further educate and train the members of the community about
recycling and segregation of waste. This project will provide the necessary tools and
materials for the activity that are enough for the participants of the clean-up drive.
There will be assigned zones for the people to clean and take care of. This project
"Lead the Scene and Keep it Green" invokes the members of the community to start
cleaning their surrounding together and to have initiative in taking care of their
environment.
III. PROJECT RATIONALE

The project's main objective is to have a clean and green environment. This will
promote cleanliness in the community and further raise environmental awareness and
help the people of the community to maintain the cleanliness of their barangay.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

The following will be the beneficiaries of this project:

Community. The community will benefit from this project in a way that citizen will have
the sense of camaraderie in achieving a cleaner environment. This will help to promote
proper waste disposal and nature appreciation in the community. This clean drive up
program will educate and teach the community on how to care of the environment
properly and the many benefits can get from it.

Residents. The project will directly benefit the residents. As the residents will be the one
who will be applying the skills acquired to this program. As expected the residents will
be able to learn proper waste management, specifically, recycling and segregating
waste properly.

CWTS Students. This project will widen the view of students about community. In a way
that they will witness a different environment setup and way of living.
