General Norms:
1. Registration is mandatory for all the students.
2. Students are required to carry their Identity Cards and event registration receipt
(IU/Non IU Students) for all the competitions.
3. Late entries will not be entertained.
4. On spot registrations are subjected to the number of entries in any
particular event.
5. The organizers reserve the rights to change the venue, time and rules
if required.
6. In any case, no refund will be given after registration.
7. The general weight restrictions for any event do not include the weight of the
battery.
8. All wires should be insulated. Both with connections having live wires will be
disqualified.
9. In case of discrepancy, the decision made by the organizing
committee will be final and binding.
1. DEATH-RACE
Participant has to make the robot which can cross all the hurdles in the path to
complete the task. The death-race will have participants bring their wired /
wireless rob car, to race against others. However, this race will be conceptually
a bit different than the usual races, where it is only one car at a time it would a
race against time.
RULES:
• Each team has minimum 1 and maximum 4 members.
• The robot has to start from the START line.
• There are no restrictions about the material to be used.
• The source of energy should be in the form of batteries.
• No other source of energy is allowed.
• The robot, if requires hand touch, will be placed on the previous check
point and will be penalized for 5 seconds.
The dimensions of the robot must not exceed 45 cm x 45 cm (L x b)
• If all the four tyres of a robot go off track, they have to begin from the last
checkpoint.
• If the robot goes in No Entry Zone, the team will be penalized for 5
seconds
• Use of IC ENGINES or COMPRESSOR is not allowed.
• The maximum length of the wire should be 5 meter.
• The Voltage at any point on the electrical connections should not exceed
24 V DC.
• The organizer’s decision regarding interpretation of rules or any other
matter related to competition will be final. If there is any situation not
contemplated in the rules, In case of any discrepancies the decision of
the organizing committee shall be final.
2. ROBO BOWLING
For humans, bowling is a game that requires much practice and a certain level
of skill, but for a robot, many of the variables surrounding bowling can be
eliminated. Challenge yourself to build and drive a robot that can accurately
bowl 3 frames. Each team has to come with their own robo based on given
specification only.

5. ROBO-WAR
Participants of this event are required to create a robot which is capable of
defeating other robots in the ring. Four robots, randomly selected will enter the
ring and fight to knock the others out by either disabling the robot or pushing
them out of bounds. A time limit will be provided under which the opposing
robots try to knock each other out. If two robots survive within the given time
limit then they proceed to the next round. Then final round will be a fight of 4
where one will be crowned the winner.
RULES:
• Each team has minimum 1 and max 4 members.
• The size of robot must be within 60 x 60 cm (Length x Width x
Height).
• Use of IC ENGINES or COMPRESSOR is not allowed.
• The maximum length of the wire should be 10 meter and the wire
should not disturb the opponents robot.
• The Voltage at any point on the electrical connections should not
exceed 24 V DC.
• Traps and hurdles might be included.
• The organizer’s decision regarding interpretation of rules or any other
matter related to competition will be final. If there is any situation not
contemplated in the rules, In case of any discrepancies the decision
of the organizing committee shall be final.
6. ROBO SPRINT RACE
Participant will design a robot which can pull a certain amount of load on a track
till the finish line. A robot which can pull the load in minimum amount time will be
crowned the winner of the event.
