ABSTRACT

Analyzing Employee Commitment Supplied by Employment Service Provider


Company (Case Study of PT. Intrias Mandiri Sejati in Manado)

The purpose of this research is to analyze the commitment of the employees


who work as outsourcing employee supplied by employment service provider
company PT. Intrias Mandiri Sejati in Manado.
This research is a qualitative research using case study method based on
primary data from an in-depth interview of 11 informants as the sample who were
chosen by using purposive and snowball sampling technique from the outsourcing
employees that were supplied to business partners of employment service provider
company PT. Intrias Mandiri Sejati in Manado and the secondary data were taken
from several journals, previous research, observation, documentation and
company’s profile.
The result of this research shows that the outsourced employees are in a
good commitment to the company and the business partners, even though they only
work indirectly with the employment service provider company. From the three
dimensional of employee commitment based on employee mind-set: affective
commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment, the employee
already in good condition.

Provider Company (Case Study of PT. Intrias Mandiri Sejati in Manado)
In this era, most organizations have realized that the performance of their
workers plays a vital role in determining the success of the organization, about how
people act in an organization. The important things for employers and managers
alike to know how to get the best of their workers and one of the antecedent
determinants of workers’ performance is believed to be employee commitment. The
purpose of this employee commitment is seen as a commitment to the organization
as well as employee commitment to their occupations. PT. Intrias Mandiri Sejati is
one of a company that needs to more care about the employee commitment because
they are the company who provides an employee to the business partners that needs
the employee, and the employee will work as the outsourcing employee. It means
the employee will work indirectly with the company but still under the
responsibility of the company and because of that, the commitment between
employee and company better if in a good condition, in order to achieve the
common goals.
This research will analyze the employee commitment that works as
outsourcing employee derives on employment service provider company in PT.
Intrias Mandiri Sejati in Manado.
This research is a qualitative research using case study analysis method that
used primary data from an in-depth interview of 11 informants as the sample who
have been choosing by using purposive and snowball sampling technique from the
employees that work as outsourcing employee that already placed to business
partners of employment service provider company PT. Intrias Mandiri Sejati in
Manado with the total of population 169 employees and secondary data from
several journals, previous research, observation, documentation and company’s
profile.
The researcher recommend that the company keep more care about
employee commitment since the recruitment, selection, placement and until they
work because their commitment will determine their in good or bad performance in
the company
