By learning my pupil's interests, hobbies, and aspirations, I got to know them
better personally in the classroom and outside of the classroom. They felt more comfortable with me and started to share their personal information. By learning all these information, I understand their behaviours and way of learning in the classroom better. The use of personally relevant class examples definitely attracted my pupils' attention and they felt really proud of it. Lastly, by emphasizing active learning where the teacher talks less, I have seen positive improvement in my pupils where they actively took part in any class activity.
Kesimpulan / Refleksi (Kesan Tindakan (Perlu) dan Halangan (Jika Ada) :
As a conclusion, a positive rapport with the pupils is a very important aspect
of teaching. Building a positive relationship with the pupils required constant efforts by the teacher. By shedding light on this matter, I realized that gaining trust from my pupils was as important as my teaching technique.
