PROLOGUE:
Good evening brothers and sisters! The Lord for sure is pleased that you have chosen to
be with Him tonight in spite of your busy schedules and your every day concerns. Tonight is a
perfect time to relax and be refreshed in the presence of the Lord, the perfect time to draw
strength from Him for us to be able to face the rest of the week and to finish it strong. This is
also a great time to thank Him for all the blessings and a great time to lift up all our concerns to
Him. Amen? Amen. So let’s all settle down…relax and feel His presence.
Let us remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God, in the name of the Father…
Lord, we thank you for bringing us together, for paving the way to be with You tonight.

Contrition:
In 1 John 1:9 it says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins
and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Take this time brothers and sisters to remember our sins and ask for His forgiveness.

Lord God we acknowledge our sins before You, we’ve sinned against You and others but Lord
you always show us the true meaning of love. Selfless and unconditional.
Lord, teach us to be more like you. We want to hear from you. We want to learn from you more.
Give us an open heart and mind. Remind us every time we sin that you died for us on the cross.
And every time we stray away, we wound your heart more and more. Jesus, we love you. But we
are also weak to let others know of that love. Every time we separate ourselves from you by
committing sins, every time we’ve fallen short of your glory, show us your mercy and grace.
Forgive us, forgive our sins Lord.

Supplication:
Truly Lord, you are a forgiving God. You are a merciful God that spares us from the sufferings
that we deserve and You are truly a gracious God that blesses us more than we deserve.

Lord, we come tonight to seek answers for our prayers.

1. We lift up to You Lord, all the families represented here. Outpour your blessings
upon them Lord God. May you bless each and every member of our families
financially, physically, emotionally and most especially spiritually.
2. We also lift up to you Lord our FRM Community. May you grant each and every one
of us a passion to love and serve you more and more no matter what the cost. Teach
us Lord to be faithful and may we always find happiness in following you. In a very
special way, we lift up to you our Spiritual Director Father Lino Nicasio, Council of
Servant Leaders, the Disciples, Aspirants, all the ministries and all the members.
3. We pray Lord all those who need healing especially the sick members of our
community. We also pray for all the poor souls in the purgatory.
Brothers and sisters, may I invite everyone, to put your hands near your hearts. Close your eyes
and speak to the Lord and say to Him all the prayers inside your heart. Your prayer for healing of
sickness, healing of relationships, for peace, for providence, for prosperity, for wisdom and
direction, for direction in your career, for your businesses. Lift up everything to the Lord. For in
Mark 11: 22-23 it says “Have faith in God, to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea,
and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for
him”.
Believe that the Lord can make the impossible things possible for you. Believe that He can you
heal you, that He can provide, that He can satisfy your every need. Amen.
We surrender it all to you Jesus. Lord we give you full control of our lives, our aspirations and
wishes in life. We put our complete trust in your Holy name.

Thanksgiving:
Thank you Lord for answering our prayers. Thank you Lord for all that You have given to us,
and for all the blessings that you have freely given to us. Thank you Lord for all the countless
blessings, all the wondrous miracles, for healing us. We adore you Lord God for all the great
things You have done for us. You are our creator, our healer, our savior, our provider, our
comfort, our source of joy.

the Lord is amazing. Let’s surrender everything that we have to give him glory! Yes Lord, we

SONG: Hillsong - Shout To The Lord

My Jesus, my Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand

Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You
My Jesus, my Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

You're my comfort
(My comfort)
And my shelter
(My shelter)
You're my tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand

Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You

Oh shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand

Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You

Thank you Jesus! Praise you Father for all the great things you have done for us. Hallelujah.

Truly Lord Your Word is powerful, Your Word is truth and Your Word is living and active.
Your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. May you outpour your wisdom that
we may open our minds and open our hearts to You as we listen to Your word.
Let us now listen to the word of God.

Monday of the Thirteenth Week in Ordinary Time

Lectionary: 377
Reading 1A M 2:6 -10, 13 -1 6
Thus says the LORD:
For three crimes of Israel, and for four,
I will not revoke my word;
Because they sell the just man for silver,
and the poor man for a pair of sandals.
They trample the heads of the weak
into the dust of the earth,
and force the lowly out of the way.
Son and father go to the same prostitute,
profaning my holy name.
Upon garments taken in pledge
they recline beside any altar;
And the wine of those who have been fined
they drink in the house of their god.

Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorites before them,

who were as tall as the cedars,
and as strong as the oak trees.
I destroyed their fruit above,
and their roots beneath.
It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt,
and who led you through the desert for forty years,
to occupy the land of the Amorites.

Beware, I will crush you into the ground

as a wagon crushes when laden with sheaves.
Flight shall perish from the swift,
and the strong man shall not retain his strength;
The warrior shall not save his life,
nor the bowman stand his ground;
The swift of foot shall not escape,
nor the horseman save his life.
And the most stouthearted of warriors
shall flee naked on that day, says the LORD.
Responsorial PsalmP S 5 0:16BC - 17, 1 8 -19, 20 -2 1, 22 - 23

R. (22a) Remember this, you who never think of God.

“Why do you recite my statutes,
and profess my covenant with your mouth,
Though you hate discipline
and cast my words behind you?”
R. Remember this, you who never think of God.
“When you see a thief, you keep pace with him,
and with adulterers you throw in your lot.
To your mouth you give free rein for evil,
you harness your tongue to deceit.”
R. Remember this, you who never think of God.
“You sit speaking against your brother;
against your mother’s son you spread rumors.
When you do these things, shall I be deaf to it?
Or do you think that I am like yourself?
I will correct you by drawing them up before your eyes.”
R. Remember this, you who never think of God.
“Consider this, you who forget God,
lest I rend you and there be no one to rescue you.
He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies me;
and to him that goes the right way I will show the salvation of God.”
R. Remember this, you who never think of God.

AlleluiaP S 9 5:8

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
If today you hear his voice,
harden not your hearts.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
GospelM T 8:18 - 22

When Jesus saw a crowd around him,

he gave orders to cross to the other shore.
A scribe approached and said to him,
“Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
Jesus answered him, “Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests,
but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head.”
Another of his disciples said to him,
“Lord, let me go first and bury my father.”
But Jesus answered him, “Follow me,
and let the dead bury their dead.”
