Omnicell Error Messages

Fingerprint scanner not working, Confirm with user


1. Location
2. Can any user log in at all using their Fingerprint
3. Have users tried to log in with their ID and Password and add fingerprint again to see if the
issue has to do with fingerprint expiration?
4. Has the cabinet been rebooted?

If all questions answered, then try resend the users table from list maintenance on the server, by
logging onto Omnicell, then Administration >> from the OmniSupplier list select OmniSupplier List
Maintenance >> Basic Actions Tab >> Under Send to Cabinet tick Users and process.

If the issue persists escalate to Omnicell.

Cabinet Buttons Not Working, confirm with user;


1. Location
2. Are all the button bars plugged in
3. Which of the buttons are not working

If issue persist, escalate to Omnicell
