Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following posts where selection will be made
purely on suitability and merit:-

Joint Director Project Management (EG-05) (Merit-02)


S. No. 01 Contract: 02 years (Extendable)
Salary: Rs. 152,958/- per month

 Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with at least 2 Division or
equivalent from HEC recognized University
QUALIFICATION  Qualified Project Management Professional (PMP)
 Must have completed certification in Primavera with hands-on experience
 The candidate must be registered with PEC
EXPERIENCE  At least 05 years of working experience in large / medium scale development project
 Should possess the skills needed to evaluate and monitor the progress of the various
activities throughout the project life cycle.
 Possess high-caliber abilities to articulate, analyze, write and present executive summaries
on running projects.
 Have sound interpersonal skills to enter into negotiations with the stakeholders as per laid
SKILLS
down objectives of the project.
 Monitoring & management of project including process mapping and progress reporting.
 Should be knowledgeable about the modern project management tools & techniques and can
practically apply such tools on project.
 Ability to identify “Red-Flags” (Project Problems) that may be indicators of more trouble.
AGE  Maximum 45 years (including all age relaxations)
Note: Upon selection, services of the successful candidates can be utilized on managing ongoing projects

(c) The applicants for the post from S. No. 1 to 6 will be required to deposit Non-Refundable amount of Rs.1000/- and

(d) Original Bank Deposit Receipt must be attached with the application otherwise application will not be entertained
(In case of Online Transfer, Bank Verification is mandatory).

(e) Candidates interested to apply for more than one post must apply for each post separately.

(f) All the interested candidates must read the Terms of Reference (TOR) mentioned in this advertisement
before applying for the post.

Terms of Reference

i) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be considered.

ii) Applicants holding equivalent qualifications must produce Equivalence Certificate issued from HEC in respect
of the particular qualification.

iii) Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which separate notices
will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iv) No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.

v) Appointment will be subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.

vi) Selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan.

vii) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit NOC from
current employer before interview.

viii) Successful candidates will be required to submit the copies of the educational documents duly verified from the
concerned Board / HEC at the time of joining.

ix) Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification
for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.

x) In case, any educational documents found fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected candidate will be
terminated immediately and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
