Runde-Flanigan Model of Conflict Management

Craig Runde and Tim Flanagan authors of the book: Becoming a Conflict Competent
Leader: How You and Your Organization Can Manage Conflict Effectively, developed a
model of conflict management.

The Runde-Flanigan Model indicates which conflict management behaviors are either
constructive or destructive. The chief parameters of defining conflict management strategies
are whether they are active, passive, constructive or destructive.
