Metro Safety’s New Campus in Surrey Offers First-Aid and Workplace Training

Courses for Workplace Injuries in Canada

The comprehensive first-aid and workplace safety courses offered by Metro Safety help protect
workers from accidents while on-the-job in Surrey, Canada.

Coquitlam, Canada, February 01, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Metro Safety is a training institute located in
Canada that serves to protect the community. Founded in 2008, the training school hopes to provide
professional health safety training to workers employed in risky jobs in Canada.

For the past 11 years, expert trainers and medics at Metro Safety have helped deliver practical and
theoretical first-aid training courses in Coquitlam to help students mitigate workplace medical
emergencies.

The training institute is now opening a new campus in Surrey that'll help protect workers from all
occupations, including construction workers, roofers, and steel welders to forklift drivers, scaffold
workers, and on-site medics.

The new health training school strives to bring about a positive change in the working conditions of
Surrey workers through the 3-level occupational first-aid courses ranging from 8-hour, 36-hour, and
72-hour long courses.

Speaking about the leading occupational first-aid courses, a representative of the company said, “We've
designed a three-level program to help out workers who can't commit to long hours of training. Each
course offers significant information of first-aid that's recognized by the Work Safe Organization in
British Columbia. Our teachers train students to handle medical emergencies that arise in the workplace.
Not only do they get basic training in CPR and RSI injuries, but they also learn how to provide first-aid
for fractures, eye injuries, and burn management.”

Besides offering first-aid training, Metro Safety also provides comprehensive workplace safety courses
that include fall protection training, forklift training, confined space safety courses, and traffic control
person training.

Elaborating on the stellar workplace safety courses, the representative said, “Our trainers teach workers
on the proper way to manage forklift machines through theoretical and practical guidance. They're taught
how to secure body belts, anchor lanyards, and lock harnesses to protect them from falling from heights.
Construction workers who work in confined areas are taught how to manoeuvre safely and stay away
from hazardous places. They'll also be taught a course on transportation and road safety which includes
setting up and maintaining work zones in commercial areas.”

As responsible employees, contact the team of Metro Safety in Surrey and schedule workplace safety
courses and first-aid training courses beginning in April 2019.
