their full time and energy as a professional educator

calm at all times and model kindness and patience”
● Dr. Nanci Hanover mentions an eductor takes the time
to create personal relationships with students

● According to Moore (2015) “It is important
that I create and preserve complex, rigorous,
and realistic classroom” (My Educational

● The teacher is authentic towards their students
and families
● Offering additional time before or after school
to meet with students and teachers
● Having open communication with the students’

● The Educator maintains an end goal to
work towards in order to reach each
student
● Maintains a positive outlook

● Directing the desire to continuously learn

● Moore (2015) states an educator will help
a student “Learn from both experience
and feedback instead of just experience
alone.”
Motivated
● The CTPE (2016) state teachers should “establish
professional learning goals and make progress to
improve their practice.” (TPE 6)
● Advice from colleagues and other resources will help
improve teaching.
● Educators should create a practice that will promote
further learning.
● Nanci Hanover mentioned the love we should have for
our students because they need us, we are their future.
● Teachers should make a difference.

● An example of a positive role in both in and


out of the classroom
● According to the Association of American
Educators (2018) “ The professional educator
endeavors to present facts without distortion,
bias, or personal prejudice”.
● The educator has the students best interest in
mind
● The educator is determined to inspire and teach
their students
Ethical

● The educator does not use their professional


privileges to gain a personal or partisan gain
● Does not reveal confidential information or
speak falsely about colleagues
● “The professional educator continues personal
growth” (Association of American Educators,
2018)
● Seeks to resolve problems and disciplines justly
according to the law and school policy
Inspired
● Clark (2006) states that “learning can only happen when
students become a family, which implies acting with
respect and manners.”
● Make teaching fun and exciting to learn
● The CTPE (2016) explains that educators should
“promote growth, develop, and encourage positive
interactions as well as maintain high expectations for
learning.” (TPE2)
● Nanci Hanover advises educators to be happy, be fair, be
caring, and have flexibility.
● No matter what age, strive to inspire.
Inspired

● Make learning fun by encouraging students and


creating friendly competition
● Inspired educators are passionate about the
subject they are teaching
● Show why it is important to learn the things
being taught by providing effective real world
examples
● Good use of questioning and feedback to keep
students engaged and stimulated
