DE PIANO D’ORLÉANS
REPERTOIRE // 1900 - 2018
1
A real explosive kaleidoscope, colored with ideas and creations ; no-one doubts that the
young performers, involved and enthusiastic, will appropriate these suggestions and will
respond with a regular enthusiasm to the propositions of the Rules for the Competition
2018 with, as always, an equal respect for the creations of yesterday and the ones of a
close and inspired future.
Françoise Thinat
President and Founder of Orléans Concours International
Isabella Vasilotta
Directrice artistique d’Orléans Concours International
For ten days in Orléans, the candidates compete for different Prizes that will be awarded
by prestigious associations and foundations, but they will also have to stand up for their
vision of the music from our days and from the XX Century which has brought so many
revolutions in the history of listening. This willing of innovation, of sharing, of discovering
becomes alive in front of the Jury, the audience, the media, the musical programmers and
all those people who come from all over the world. It is probably from this piano, music
and art celebration that a new career will begin !

Artistic director of Orléans Concours International
