correct calipers are installed during repairs.
Failure to install brake calipers with the

Porsche does not approve the use of other than original equipment wheel rims on cars equipped
with tire pressure monitoring systems (RDK), even if the rims are equipped with pressure switches.
Ali of the components of the tire pressure monitoring system and the combination wheel/pressure
switch on Porsche vehicles are of matched design to ensure optimum system performance.
Important conditions for proper function of the tire pmssure monitoring system are:
- Sealing of pressure switch on wheel ri,m.
- Design of the rim contour to prevent excessive pressure on the switch diaphragm from tire beads
when mounting tires.
- Design of wheel/tire assembly to prevent excessive temperatures in the area of the pressure switch.
- Precise positioning of the pressure switch on the wheel rim within specific tolerances and correct
position of the switch in relation to the high frequency sender.
important Note: Use of aftermarket wheel rims with tire pressure monitoring switch may void existing
warranties.
Thank you.
