1 ) Based on my understanding, the reasons why we should have both adjectives with five

senses and also to include figurative language in the essay is because good descriptive writing
often makes use of figurative language such as analogies, similes and metaphors to help paint
the picture in the reader's mind. This is because it would make our sentences to be more
interesting like in descriptive writing which includes many sensory details that paint a picture
and appeals to all of the reader's by using the senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste
when appropriate and suitable for us to use which followed by how that person thinks, feels
and acts. So, by implementing this kind of language in our sentences it could makes our writing
part best to read for all readers.

Example :

Telling: Liyana was smart and clever

Showing: Liyana had always got number one in her final exam for her class and because of
that she was selected as the best student in her school.
